"The simple fact seems to be that the kitchen is not of a sufficient size to service the restaurant. The result is that a starter salad plus a raclette took 3 hours to arrive. We gave up on the desert and when we asked for a discount they offered to take the desert of which actually INCREASED the bill. I must admit that annoyed me so we made a quite unreasonable offer of what we were willing to pay which was eventually accepted and left.A tip to the management - if service is running slow offer people some free wine, nibbles, apologise. Don't blame your waiter and try and charge more money!"

"We stopped at the Kanata restaurant on the Valle Blanche side of Les Alpes. Gorgeous setting and we lucked out because the sun was shinning every day. Massive helping of delicious food. I loved there Ravioli in mushroom sauce. Also their Vin Chaud is...the best I've tasted. The restaurant can get very busy very quickly and watching the staff cope was like poetry in motion. Fast and efficient and no matter how busy you always got your food promptly."

"We went as a group of 8 and all had the 7 course tasting menu. The female sommelier was helpful with our wine selections. The waiting staff were lovely although a little surprised that they didn't pour the water or the wine nor were our drinks taken from the bar to the table. However, this is nit picking! The food was beautifully presented and an absolute delight. Allow a good 3 to 4 hours to fully enjoy. Fabulous alpine decor - all in all a very enjoyable experience."
