"We ate here on New Year’s Eve and were looking forward to it. However on arrival the waiters were very rude and rushed us into ordering. My partner had the spinach ricotta cannelloni which arrived in a pool of cream. In biting into...his cannelloni he discovered it was hard uncooked. The whole meal was luke warm and had no flavour. It was supposed to be al forno but it was both stale and uncooked. When we mentioned it to the waiter he just shrugged and walked off, happy to charge us for the meal anyway. There were also complaints from tables both sides of us. One couple had bruschetta as a starter and the bread was stale (as was my partner’s with the cannelloni). On the other side a man asked for a large beer a small one turned up. When he queried it, he was told ‘that is big to us’. This is a place that stings you once, knowing well that you won’t return. Interesting that it was the only place at New Year not to be fully booked. Be warned and avoid if you would like a decent cooked meal."

"As some visitors have already written, the place is a classic tourist's trap, just next to the course ship pier. We tried calamari tapas as a starter, to my surprise it was just fried calamari, not grilled as I have expected, and it was just ok, nothing special. Main dish we had both fish with potato and cucumber salad, the quality of the fish was good, but as it was fried again, it was quite greasy to my taste. Our waitress was polite and quick, we didn't wait long to get our order. What bothered us the most was the company sitting next to our table, obviously well known by staff, they were really noisy and disrespectful to the guests around, most of them smoked all the time. I know this could happen anywhere, but these guys seemed to be some VIP chef's or owner's friends with lack of manners and respect to anyone around them.I would not go to this place again."

"Central place at the port of Travemünde. The state of Schleswig-Holstein currently allows to sit outside restaurants and cafes, which is of course an imaginable high light, but the staff in Casablanca also made it special. Friendly staff and fast service."

"We had lunch at Potters during a recent visit to Luebeck. We sat outside, which was nice, but aside from the view, Potters had nothing to offer during our visit. The service was particularly bad. We were seated and given a menu, but it was not for another 15 minutes that we actually saw our waitress. The food is basic German, with a few twists. The ladies next to us had ordered the beef special, which looked good. We were going to order this whenever our waitress arrived, but on her way to our table she was stopped by the two ladies, one of whom sent her meal back. I speak German, and she told the waitress that the roast was raw inside, and the potatoes were "disgusting." Upon hearing that, we quickly decided to go with the "tried and true" Wiener Schnitzel. Alas, the schnitzel that arrived was burnt on one side and had grisle all along one side. Not very appetizing.Aside from the excellent location, across from the Salt Warehouses, Potter's has nothing to offer. Sorry."

"Ate here this evening with family who recommended this place. Although the service was a little lacking it seemed a busy night with only one member of staff on the upper level the food that did arrive was tasty. I can definitely recommend...the tournedos which were delicious and very filling. Also highly recommended was the Wien Schnitzel. It certainly isnt haute cuisine, but if you are looking for something satisfying and tasty with some different options from the usual german fayre, this is worth a try. Also its great sitting on the river with the tall ferries towering over you as they occasionally pass.."

"Ich war im April da und weil die meisten Restaurant am 1 Mai geschlossen hatten sind wir auch dort Essen gegangen. Das Essen war,wie immer gut. Wir mussten leider, auf den Wein sehr lange warten. Mit der Vorspeise waren wir schon längst fertig. Es war viel Betrieb. Die Bedingung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen ."
