"Great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. You don't need to golf to enjoy the food. Prices very reasonable. Great service and beautiful view all under a giant brick domed roof. If you are golfing order the club sandwich from their golf cart to be delivered while you golf. One of my favorites is the Cobb Salad is't meal in itself. They have a good selection of different burgers and a good Mexican selection of dishes. We usually have the place to ourselves."

"This is one of the most romantic bars on the beach. CIA opens at 2 pm and has fun music and promotions daily. At night the lights are tropical and warm on the beach. The views are spectacular at night looking at the lights of Centro Manzanillo...The Port....and along the beach to CIA. Great date place and fun to meet friends for some laughs. Thanks CIA for the service and great place to view the romantic moon."

"Cruise stop (Carnival Spirit Feb 09). Forgot the name of the beach we wanted to go to so the cab took us to the only one I could remember - La Boquita. Soon realized we had made a mistake - very dirty beach, tables, nervous about ordering food and felt somewhat unwelcome. My husband and I walked along the beach back in the direction of the cruise ship dock feeling very downhearted and still somewhat queasy from the ship (sticking to Carib cruises after this). Finally came to El Indio; This little restaurant felt like an oasis in the desert! We were treated like royalty and made very comfortable in the upstairs open air diningroom. Shamefully, I can't remember the name of the owner who chatted with us at length and even drove us, gratis, to a nearby taxi area when we were ready to go. The waves were a little higher than suited us but we had fun being tossed about a bit in them. Had a meal and several Dos xxx beer - lovely stuff - all for under $30. A lovely afternoon and the highlight of the trip. Our host admired my husband's snorkelling mask and asked if he would sell it - we were glad to leave it for him as a tip. Would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to anyone and look forward to going back when we stay in Manzanillo (would not recommend cruising there unless you like a bumpy ride)."

"We've stayed for a week at the Dolphin Cove Inn and we wanted to eat something good and fresh near by. It was so disappointed! Nobody knows English, a little bit, the order was mistaken, they do not have capuccino, we didn't have the forks,...I received one from the waiter's hand directly. If you want to order something to drink on the beach, very close to the restaurant, it' s more expensive???? Without services included. It's a shame for this place because has a great view!"

"This is a small place, filled between a small shopping area and a pretty, lush seafood place. it is located right in front of the local radio station, next to soriana. If you like traditional Mexican cuisine, you should try it. her carne en su...Jugo is extraordinary. if they do not know what this is, it is slim strip of bark a lot cooked in a strong bark broth with pint beans. then a tablespoon or so of crispy roasted speck is added and it is poured with a small grilled bevel, a grilled yellow pfeffer and a piece of avocado. it served with excellent tortillas and I don't like tortillas. these are more like a thin redti. it comes in two sizes, small and large and is served in traditional stoneware plates. small of probably more than you should eat, but it's so good you'll want the big one. very cost-effective and no care about getting sick. they use water for all their cooking. they serve several different things, but frankly, the carne en su jugo is so mouthwatering, I cannot bring myself to try something else. they are only open for lunch .. typically close by 4-5 pm."
