"Once upon a time ago this place had the best fries EVER! But that was then, and this is now: I was disappointed that returning here after many years, my expectations of the greatest fries were quickly dashed. I found them to be dried out and pretty much flavourless. The price has skyrocketed but the quality has crashed. With that being said, this is still a unique place located in a beautiful park with a sandy beach. Great for families not wanting to pack a picnic lunch."

"The Lady Bug is my first choice for breakfast or lunch in Midland. Go in and order at the counter and it will be brought to your table. The food is good quality and not in the junk food category. The atmosphere is casual and friendly."

"This little storefront cafe was right beside our hotel so we decided to give it a try. We were four adult family members travelling together and we were delighted by our meal at the Mint Cafe. Sunday Brunch was small but mighty. Served inside the little restaurant on a couple of tables and across the counter was a bounty of homemade and home cooked eggs, meats, potatoes, pancakes, waffles, sweets, and an assortment of juice, coffee, tea, and water along with delicious sauces, jams, and maple syrup. All superbly tasty. I highly recommend this little cafe for its great food."

"After reading some reviews in this restaurant, I decided to pick up an order today. It wasn't disappointing. I ordered beef mushrooms, shrimp fried rice and Dia Dop Woey. All were excellent and without a doubt the sauce in beef and...Mushrooms was superb; the best I ever had. Next time I go to Midland, I will definitely reorder Bleu Garden."

"My wife and I stumbled upon Mammas while driving through Balm Beach. We typically have a local place we love to go however theirs patio is not animal friendly and we had our puppy with us. Mammas has a huge 2 level patio and our puppy was welcome as tables were spread apart quite well. Mammas has a waitress however you need to go inside (Seating there as well) and order from the chalk menu board. We loved the food. They feature roti, jerk chicken, roast chicken,chicken curry, goat curry, ribs, patties and samosas. We both ordered the jerk chicken which is house smoked on outdoor wood barbeque. The chicken was accompanied with saffron rice and black beans, naan bread as well as a yummy cucumber salad in a home recipe vinaigrette. Wow were we happy with our choice. Everything was above our expectations. Our waitress brought our dinners out to us in an eco friendly to go container which is very island like. She also brought our pooch some water and a big dog biscuit. He was very happy as well. Once the cottagers catch on to Mammas they'll be a place to go for excellent eat in if takeout tasty food. We can't wait to go back. Oh ya, dinner was 12.95 each and ample servings. Definately recommend you give them a try. No liquor license yet."

"We thought we'd give this place another chance? Omg it is by far the worst car we've ever done, nothing but fat and soggy chicken, pommes we're actually cold. Total waste of hard-earned money."

"Went to Minjis for lunch recently for the first time. The restaurant offers traditional comfort foods (e.g breakfast dishes, sandwiches etc). and for those looking for something different some Korean dishes. The prices are decent and the service is ok. Keep in mind you are coming for the food and prices, unfortunately the wait service is not the priority, especially when busy. Warning, the parking lot is small and when I was there, many customers drove pick-ups which made parking spaces tight."
