"This place starts with you while you approach Millstatt from the main road along the lake. Local friends later confirmed that this is the cool place for coffee, drinks or lunch. It is a floating dock on a classic Austrian alpine lake, blown with sand on the ground to give it a remarkable feeling. We seemed to be the only English speakers when we visited lunch and linguistic questions might have contributed to some problems with our order (our bad for not speaking German, not theirs), further complicated by the fact that a server brings your order and another person. One of my companions ordered the lasagna, another wanted a late breakfast. We have two breakfasts, and then waited more than 20 minutes to get the right order with Lasagne. Weird, as it was the special of the day! But if you have to wait for your food, that's the place. Fun relaxed mood with families, pets and motorcycles. When we finally got the food, it was delicious, but probably a better stop for drinks and just a look."

"We had a few dinners in this restaurant right at the ship station at Millstatter See. It is wonderful to sit in a warm weather on the water. The menu offers enough meals to choose from. We tried the fish, salads and also pasta and the meal was always good. My husband likes the beer here more than in other local restaurants. The service staff was friendly and nice, only sometimes we had to wait a bit longer than the restaurant was crowded. Prices are reasonable."
