"A nice afternoon tea on a very cold and windy Saturday afternoon.With the family walked along to the lighthouse and then on our return to our car we dropped in for afternoon tea. The coffees and hot chocolates were delicious. The biscuits and cakes were likewise delicious. Well worth a visit."

"On Tuesday this week I had dinner with 2 friends at your restaurant. I had a friend from the Southern Highland to show him our beautiful City. First of all the young dark headed waitress who showed us to our table was not welcoming at...all. We ordered cocktails from the bar and 3 entrees to share before we ordered our main course. The Entrees arrived and I asked the same girl for side plates and napkins, she delivered them with such an effort that she plonked them at the end of the table. After that she obviously did not want to serve us again so another blond waitress with no attitude served us. After our entrees we went to the bar to order wine and main course. We were told the kitchen was closed as it was 8’oclock. At no time were we told the kitchen closed at that time by the waitress who showed us to our table or the email confirmation we received when we booked. I was very embarrassed for my friend who was from out of town. I have been to your restaurant before and will think twice before returning or recommending it. My friend paid the bill and left a generous tip to the nice waitress and told her about the poor attitude and abruptness from the other Girl."

"We had the oysters half and half 3 Kilpatrick and 3 mornay) and scallops as entrees both very nice. Then we had tuna for the main, which was cooked to perfection. We chose the entree of calamari rather than another main. Then we had...crème brûlée , divine and mango cheesecake. Our waitress was so nice as were all the staff. We will be back."

"I'd love to be feeling more generous here but 2 stars are about as much as I can muster. Left waiting to order we eventually went to counter. Our table was eventually set by two boys who seemed half asleep and very disinterested. The food quality had dropped quite a bit since I'd been here 2 years ago. The flat coke lemon lime bitters seemed to reflect this restaurant perfectly."

"This is a nice place to have a beer overlooking the water, and there are so many different seating areas. The bathrooms were clean and the staff is friendly as well... we would definitely go back and try food the next time."
