"I keep finding different places on here to comment on, and some places had not been added to Trip Advisor when we visited. My husband and I from the UK have toured Canada many times over the years and these trips have sometimes included Victoria. We drove from Port Hardy to Holberg, just for the experience, and it can be an experience! We came across this great little place and had a welcome burger and a beer! Great value and the people were very friendly and interested to hear where we had been and where we were heading. It is literally miles from anywhere but a great spot nonetheless, it seems you are stepping back to a bygone era. If you have the chance give it a go."

"Really close from deep cove hike if you're by car and great place to go on this summer! They have a charming patio and a rustic decoration inside. Really good music and on weekends also have live music or dj! Great beer and food! I totally recommend to go with friends or couples, they create a interesting atmosphere that worth checking out!"

"Loved this place the food was really good. We went early so we did not have to wait too long and crowds were not too bad. But while you are waiting you can go take in the sites of the water. The place is really cute and bright in comparison to other places. We enjoyed a bike ride after to work off breakfast!"

"We live right next door to this place. They have a simple menu, they aren't trying to reinvent the wheel here. The burgers including the cod and salmon ones are scrumptious. They make everything fresh. The ahi tuna dish is a big serving, I don't really like the sauce so I just get them to grill it with salt and pepper because it's great quality tuna and doesn't need to be all dressed up. There seems to be something for everyone on the menu. Prices are reasonable in comparison to other area eateries. We enjoy spending time with Seth at the bar, sometimes we just pop over for a glass of vino and a draft, shoot the breeze a little. We enjoy having this addition to the neighbourhood and we feel really at home when we pop in to grab a bite or just a couple of drinks. Easy going neighbourhood eatery, exactly what we needed right next door."

"Finally a GREAT Szechuan place on the North Shore!! Actually Chilli Lee could hold it's own amongst the best on any shore. The restaurant is clean and fresh and so is the food. Have eaten here 4 times in the last month and have not had a bad dish yet. Everything is cooked fresh and prepared to perfection. I love Chilli Lee!!!"

"The District is just another wonderful place to eat in a string of small restaurants that each perform at high levels. The server was very friendly and very attentive. Never had to wait for a beverage and really enjoyed the outdoor seating (the breeze is perfect this time of year). We will definitely return."
