"This resort is about 40Km from Coimbatore on the Kerala side. The resort is built on a slope leading to the river. The approach to the river is gated off but you can admire the view from the River deck. The meal plan is quite sumptuous mostly South Indian with couple of continental dishes. There is a small gym, swimming pool (only 4 feet deep) and mini-golf for fun activities. They offer a trek into the nearby hills which we couldn't take due to rain. We tried the river walk to the meeting place of Siruvani and Bhavani rivers. It was pleasant and easy activity on flat ground. There is a temple tour which we combined with our return journey as all the temples were close to Coimbatore. The staff are mostly local and very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping staff attended to our requests promptly. If you have difficulty walking or climbing steps choose a room on flatter ground rather than ones closer to the river. There is an inclined path leading to all rooms so using wheelchairs should not be a problem"

"We visit palakkad twice a year and visit aishwarya home mess at least once if no longer in the course of our stay in palakkad. aishwarya is a small hole-in-the-wall type of eseis that eat the choice of South Indian .essentially brahmin snacks and sweetnesses. this place is a stand-in eater without sitting. about years ago in kalpathy agraharam, about meters away from the tempel, should be considered aishwaryas popularity. it is guided by the high lanky guru and the always smiling narayanan. the place opens on the afternoon and will soon be expected to eat from the natives or take their traditional snacks such as mor appam, sevai, raw banana bhajji, bonda, poori masal ,chiili bhajji, dal vada, medu vada, elai adai with jackfruit jangri, mysorepak, rava lado. what really makes aishwarya so special is the traditional and forgotten items such as mor appam and elai adai made to the most authentic wise. also the filter coffee is excellent as they prefer. a few years ago this place also opened to the breakfast. they only open in the early afternoon. aishwarya is so popular that the guided tour of a national day newspaper like the hindu lob has written about this wonderful place."

"Our family visits flavours every once in a while over the last year. Food is pretty decent and apart from slight variations in quality, most of the times, they are able to deliver on the food front. Over the year though, the ambiance has deteriorated slowly; primary on the cleanliness front. Tables, floor are occasionally spotty, flies have created a nuisance and the entire experience is definitely a step down from what it was when we first visited the place. On the other hand, the staff is helpful and their willingness to modulate spiciness/flavours to your requirements is definitely a plus. It will be a good step on their end to they take action now to improve things."
