"The place was buzzing with the Sunday morning crown when we arrived. We found ourselves a table and chewed over the menu before landing on Eggs Benedict, and Smashed avocado. Coffee arrived promptly and was perfect. Meals proved about 40 minutes later not so. I ordered ham with my Benny and it was obvious that it had come straight out of the fridge. Mind you the poached eggs were perfect - thats an art. The hollandaise sauce was conspicuously absent and replaced by some type of cream sauce (well just a dash of it). Normally I'm expecting the sauce to be dripping over the eggs (not too much, not too little), however you would be lucky to see the sauce on the dish. When we requested of extra sauce it was provided however then it became obvious it was no hollandaise, but a cold cream substitute. The sour dour toast was good though. My wife had the smashed avocado which came with a poached egg and she tells me it was delicious, so maybe just me. Anyways, cold Ham and cold sweet sauce doesn't work for me so much. Maybe steer away from this little surprise? So in summary , coffee tick, Smashed avocado tick, eggs benny need cross, service cross."

"Trendy, tasty and top quality! My friends and I stumbled on Burgster after an Arvo on the beach and where pleasantly surprised by food and service. The staff where we are friendly, funny and made sure we are happy all the time. The cocktails where I am amazing and I'm kind of cheated that I didn't try them all. All meals where delicious and had good quality ingredients. The audience favourites at our table, where the Cheeseburger, Aranchini chicken Burger mmmm. A hidden treasure worth a visit!"

"Wonderful home cooked lunch at this lovely little Cafe. Friendly prompt service just a few minutes walk from the ferry. Afterwards we walked up the stepped pathway that leads to Ocean Beach almost opposite this little cafe. Will definitely be back!"

"I've been here plenty of times and each time they have produced the goods! Eggs benny with avo and bacon for $12!!?? You get more than you pay for with this one, comes with Avo and bacon. So good!! And the coffee is decent too, I like my coffee strong so I get it as a double but no one I've taken has complained. The service is also good, you can tell it's a family run business as they are super friendly. Definitely worth a visit, it's my new local."

"Lovely spot overlooking the marina. Courteous and attentive staff. Seated and served promptly. Saganaki (haloumi) and garlic bread very nice and Atlantic salmon perfectly done. Good portion sizes. Not a fan of seeing live lobster tanks right near the tables - but it is a seafood restaurant after all."
