"We recently went for lunch on a nice Tuesday to enjoy this newly renovated waterfront resto. There was no longer a lunch special, which was disappointing. Given the weekday, and all of 4 other people on the terrace, I think the owners to rethink their strategy, given the competition in the village that offers dessert, and coffee as well.The traditional wiener schnitzel at $18.95 included a salad or soup, a huge piece of meat, fried potatoes and some red cabbage. Unfortunately, the schnitzel was not pan-fried, but dropped into the same frying basket as the commercial sliced potatoes. This rendered the meat very dry. No amount of lemon could save it. I was also disappointed that the potatoes were not the traditional German-style potato salad. Even the red cabbage was too sweet.It's a pity that this restaurant with a lovely interior dining-room, and a gorgeous terrace, should need a more experienced cook. The menu is too expensive for lunch for the area, when compared to the other restos on the strip.The waitress was very pleasant."

"Première visite dans ce Coffee House sans prétention mais qui mérite qu’on y entre. L’entrée principale sur la rue Ste-Anne est modeste et offre quelques tables à l’intérieur mais une terrasse à l’arrière vous permettra de déguster un déjeuner ou lunch près du bord de l’eau en pleine nature. Agréable surprise!La chaleureuse propriétaire saura vous accueillir avec sourire tout comme le Chef et la charmante serveuse anglophone qui parle français avec un accent des plus charmants.Le menu est varié (sucré-salé) et les prix sont très abordables. Les portions sont généreuses (voir mes photos) et le café est à volonté!Le service amical mériterait une petite amélioration afin d’accélérer l’arrivée des plats. Toutefois, la fraîcheur des produits vient contrebalancer ce petit écart. Tout est fait maison et goûteux. Mes crêpes aux fruits accompagnées de bacon et saucisse avec sirop d’érable étaient savoureuses. Quant à l’omelette de mon ami, elle était à point et servie avec pommes de terre rôties.Le côté champêtre de Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue m’a complètement charmée et m’a donné le goût d’y retourner dès que possible. Cette randonnée par un beau dimanche ensoleillé de fin mai valait grandement le déplacement depuis Montréal.À une prochaine fois!"

"It is always a pleasurable experience to dine here, especially during the summer months where you can sit out on the terrace next to the Locks of Saint-Anne. We ordered the Bento Box which gives you a little bit of everything: spring rolls with plum sauce, General Tao chicken on rice, tempura shrimp and veggies with teriyaki sauce, sushi rolls, pickled ginger, with starters of miso soup with tofu and broccoli and a mixed green salad with cucumbers and shredded carrot. There are other Bento Box choices as well, plus many other interesting plates. It is always a good sign when an Japanese/Chinese restaurant is frequented by Asians. We often see this here. The service is friendly and attentive."
