"We walked by the restaurant yesterday and checked out the menu. It looked delicious and the pricing very reasonable. We went today for lunch and were warmly welcomed by Israel upon our arrival. He was very knowledgeable about the cuisine being served. He was also attentive and friendly and enjoyed sharing about Mexico and discussing about food and culture and travel. I'm a vegetarian and found several dishes on the menu including gazpacho, Spanish tortilla, and an incredible roasted vegetable and goat cheese salad. My husband had the paella. Everything made us mmmmmm over and over during the course of the meal. I stopped by the kitchen to commend Alejandro and Diego for the most incredible culinary experience we've had so far on our trip. They seemed delighted for the compliment. There was Spanish music playing in the background at a perfect level to hear it and create ambience but not interfere with conversation. We almost went back for dinner but opted to try something different and will for sure go back. We highly recommend this casual and mmmmm inducing culinary experience."

"I had been past the Hippo a few times and there seem to always be people there. So to lunch we go. Not only did we have a nice meal, brought to us in a timely fashion, the Dolphins were preforming in the water in front of us. The place clean and one of the best washrooms I have been in Mx. The out door patio (where we sat) was a delete. You sit under the trees with the birds, so, cover your soup. Don't miss out, it was an all round nice experience."

"We ate there twice while where down on vacation. Good drinks, food and service. If you want they will do sushi, the burger is good, blt, nacho's all in all a nice joint. One day the server was over at the Villa and served us beachside"

"We had a wonderful experience. Guillermo is the consummate host. He gave us a very thorough and helpful explanation of the menu, and made us several custom margaritas that were BY FAR the best we have had in a week in Puerta Avventuras. The tableside service was wonderful,, the food was excellent. Definitely the best place we've eaten in Puerta Avventuras BY FAR. Definitely the place to go if you want a nice dinner in Puerta Avventuras."

"Lovely mid afternoon dessert treat. The gelato is made on site and simply delicious. I really enjoyed the lemon and basil. But to be fair, we need to go back and try many more flavours"
