"Picture a near perfect lamb pie and barley soup washed down with some icy cold Harp lager. Add in a great atmosphere and a terrific staff and that is only the beginning. This place is as authentic as it gets. Located literally in the shadow of a deep water pier, it's like Ireland in Canada. Simply a great experience."

"This place is the real deal for fries... Really like the lite spray of vinegar they put on them. Coming from the States most of say no vinegar... Don't say no. Want another treat? Get the gravy too. Have to say their hot dogs were very good too."

"Due to confusion about their hours as listed on here we waited until 11 a.m to go. Told our server about our search online and the hours being incorrect. So their hours are Mon-Friday 8:00 a.m until close Sat and Sunday 9:00 a.m till close. Great brunch, the service was great and perfect poached eggs. Definitely will be back. I ordered the peamail bacon for $1.00 extra and it was well forth the extra $$$."

"Have gone a couple times this month and each was a great experience. Waitresses are pleasant and welcoming and food is above the norm for a diner spot. Had their 2 egg breakfast special - alot for very little actually. Coffee was good."

"Hadn't visited here in years and now i remember why. Alfie was a super amazing guy. These new guys running the show can't even match his coolness, especially the son. He reeks of pretentiousness where to begin. Regardless foods ok attitude not appreciated. I'll spend my money elsewhere."
