"My son and I waited to be seated for over 10 minutes, along with 2 other couples. The servers just darted past us delivering food not once making eye contact or saying, someone will he with you in a sec. Nothing. Blank, frustrated, unhappy looking staff. But they weren't all unhappy, you could hear all sorts of chatter and laughter from the kitchen where Theresa (the manager) was also hanging out. Did I mention there were now 8 of us "waiting to be seated." When we decided a bar stool would be fine and acceptable to seat yourself, right!? WRONG! The most horrible of all was the absolute rudest of them all bartender that literally gave us a death glare and hiss when we made our way to the bar before she'd wiped it down. The place is a hot mess, take my advice...the staff at Timmys and Starbucks are super nice. Safe travels"

"Terrific breakfast at the Sea Glass, first time we'd ever visited; were vacationing in Victoria, then Nanaimo, but for the Victoria portion, were staying in Sidney. Friendly staff, terrific location right at the marina, and the food was outstanding! My wife had the Hash of the Moment with pulled pork, etc and I had the Standard (2 eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast). The potatoes are insane, apparently they are powdered in Asiago cheese, onions, butter, etc Just outstanding, a well-earned 5 stars. PS - reasonably priced too, a bonus"
