"Phoned to place an order for delivery, the girl said we are only doing pick up right now. Fair enough, I hang up, ask if someone can go pick up, someone can, so I literally call back less than 60 seconds later and it rings and rings and then I hear someone pick up, and a click as if the receiver was picked up and then placed back down. Thinking they accidentally hung up, I phoned back and the lady says were closed , I said oh, I just phoned and you said you were doing orders for pick up, and she just says nope I changed my mind and hangs up on me! What? I couldn 't believe it, I won 't be ordering from here again."

"Imagine a typical, local, KL restaurant, serving authentic local cuisine, reasonably priced but far from KL - in a medium sized city, about 10,000 away, in a road side commercial building with a gun shop and Korean restaurant next door? Welcome to Mek's Delight! The food is delightful, the service is chatty, the water is abundant and on a hot day, they even cool the place Malaysian style, with the AC blasting and the doors side open. The food here is incredible. The satay is as it is found on the streets of KL (this sauce a bit too thick), spring rolls pefectly flakey and the laska is delicious. I will continue to eat my way through the menu, and have my eyes set on a fish dish but will need to bring other diners to help me eat and eat and eat. Great prices and wonderful service. It's like Malaysia all over again."

"Calamari crumbled in my fingers when i picked one up, over fried .Ordered lamb and was not lamb the Greek salad was so small I could’ve picked it up with one spoon . Rice had no taste what so ever . And I don’t know what the meat was.I also don’t know how the reviews are so high . This is the first time I rate a restaurant as I used to be in the restaurant business I know errors happen . But this was a terrible experience .Sent the whole dinner back.The worst part for me is having to be put in the uncomfortable position of having to return the dinner and writing this .The star is for the glass of wine ."

"Thank goodness this restaurant opened a Surrey location as I have quite literally found excuses to go to Chilliwack in the past just to have lunch at that Chilies location! The food at the new Surrey site is consistent with the original Chilliwack one and the favours are beyond amazing. If you need a tip on where to start with the menu, try the lunch item #11 with chicken (Mee Grab Lard Na) - I have yet to find a better version at any other Thai restaurant. The decor is nice and the staff are very helpful and personable. All in all, do yourself a favour and check this place out - you will not be disappointed!!"

"Best Vietnamese! Terrible Location. This is easily the best Vietnamese in Whalley, Surrey and the the Lower Mainland. I mean that. The attention to detail and quality here are amazing. You can taste the individual seasonings in the Pho broth and they don't skimp on the important things like Basil, peanuts... the whole 9 yards. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. You will not be disappointed. There is one problem, it's REALLY hard to find. From the outside, you can't even really tell if it's open. Inside, however, is beautifully done, easily the most tasteful noodle joint I've visited. Better Signage would also help. None of this takes away from the food though. THIS IS A MUST...read more"

"Good Stuff!. First time I visited I tried the Regular Style Chicken Donair and it was excellent; their Regular, Indian and Lebanese Donairs are just outstanding. Unlike most food places there are TV's you can watch with actual sound, so even waiting and eating is bearable. The variety of different bottled and canned drinks is noteworthy, as well.<br/ <br/ I do love trying new foods from different places, and King Tut's Donair is one of the few places I discovered that offers tasty food for very reasonable prices.<br/ <br/ If you happen to be in town and are looking for something new and tasty, I wholeheartedly recommend you pay a visit."

"Located in the Elements Casino in Cloverdale, this is a nice little fast food type place with a decent selection of breakfast items, Asian, burgers, flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, etc. at very good prices. Self-serve free water, coffee and tea since it's in the casino, so you don't necessarily need to purchase a drink. I had the Hawaiian flatbread, it was tasty and filling. They bring the food to you at the table after purchasing at the counter. A great choice if you are gaming and don't want to pay a lot or leave the building."

"3.5 STARS Well done Joe on the Cheese Benny $10.50 tax incl. . Sometimes the hollandaise at diners are a hit and miss and they nailed it. I actually enjoyed my pan fried potatoes this time. They were crispy in some parts and still soft in others and they were not deep fried like some. The melted cheddar just added another layer of goodness to the taste."
