"In juli many touring restaurants are closed, so this was a good sound. the weather had turned out so that it was nothing to sit inside. we were the only English there and it had a beautiful French atmosphere. we had a drink in le parisian at the river, which also looked beautiful, but it was full of Americans so that we did not eat there. the food was well presented and delicious. as it is in the wine growing area macon is very expensive, so we had Provence house wine, which was good. Chicken and cherry legs on most menus too. recommend the chaource starter."

"A very pleasant surprise as we hadn't thought to reserve in advance. A beautiful mean full of different flavours, tiger prawns in tempura with a wasabi mayonnaise and cold quinoa salad, wow. Given the region, the wine was delicious as well."

"A restaurant with a lot of hidden located under a window. The dishes are very good, I have in mind these snails accompanied by a mushroom flan. In short an ideal time spent during our gourmet getaway in Burgundy!"

"Tucked in the shadow of the beautiful church of St. Philibert in Tournus, this little cafe served me up the most delicious little casserole of escargots imaginable. I am determined to try to re-create this dish with its snails, sliced potatoes, and its sauce of parsley--but I'll have to do this while still in France, unless someone can tell me where to get good snails for cooking in Oklahoma! The mustard salad dressing was also to die for. After this perfect lunch I was ready to tackle the study of the church and its architecture."
