"An amazing family run restaurant with incredible food! It was a lovely evening to sit outside and the ambiance was perfect. Jasell, our server, was awesome! She was so sweet and accomodated every request. The food was terrific! I had a shrimp pasta dish that was a culinary delight. Hubby had the flounder stuffed with crab and thoroughly enjoyed it. You must try the crab stuffed mushrooms, they are to die for! The feta and spinach stuffed mushrooms are also a good option. The lamb shank dish was very much enjoyed by others in our party. Every dish was meticulously prepared to perfection. And do not forget the tiramisu, it was absolutely divine! And the expresso was a perfect complement. I can't say enough about this hidden gem. Most definitely recommend!????????????"

"I ran over here right before they closed because I had a craving for their Jetty Punch smoothie. I've actually treated myself several times this summer to this drink in particular. I was not close to the regular location that I go to but I searched this place out and it was only about fifteen minutes away from where I was. The friendly employee behind the counter took my order and had my smoothie ready in less than five minutes. Blueberry Bliss is another smoothie that has made me a regular customer! A friend of mine told me that their Mango Magic is their favorite and I'm going to have to try that one the next time I come here!"

"If you're looking for something other than they typical Louisiana fare, Embers is it! A great little pizza place tucked away in downtown Alexandria. Great service too. Loved the pizza and the fact that you can get FRESH salad here. Without a lot of fried stuff in it and they have light dressings. Delicious."

"Extremely pricey. Great river views on the patios! Some of the tables outside have fire pits, and they have private rooms if you need. I was a bit put off that sodas were cans (and significantly marked up). We enjoyed the calamari quite a bit. The crab dip was good. I had been craving fried foods, so the fried green tomatoes hit the spot. If you come on a weekend, definitely make a reservation, as it's in a tourist hub and gets really crowded."

"You just feel like a better person after you eat here. The overnight oats were about the best breakfast I have ever had. All of the toasts are a work of art. Very vegan friendly but great food for the carnivores too. Would spend a lot of money here every day if I lived nearby. If only..."
