"Was charged $11.97 for a chocolate strawberry snocone after tax. The digital menu and paper menu on top of the window said $7.99 for a snow cone but they charged me $9.97 and then added $1 which was billed as Cheval on the screen, then added tax. Not sure what Cheval was, but maybe he was adding a tip for himself. I only noticed this when I already gave my card and he was charging me. I asked about the $7.99 price on the digital screen on top and they said they recently changed the prices. But then he was acting weird and quickly grabbed and crumpled up the receipt and walked away, got a broom and started sweeping when his colleague prepared the cone. When I asked her about the price, she had overheard our conversation and said yes when I asked if the price recently changed. Odd that they would change the prices without updating the screen, which would have been easy isince it's a computer. Snocone was okay, not $11.97 good."

"Wow! I was pleasantly surprised for a northern grill restaurant. The prices are just right for what you get honest, every meal serves 2 people. As it seems to be an assembly line restaurant, I expected dry overcooked food, but got damp beautiful smoked meat stacked on fresh pumice in Gravy (Bear style). Definitely worth the stop! Uncertain what to get? Ask the server their recommendation that I did! Bonus: You serve local made Hosmer Mountain Soda! There is also a bar."

"CLOSED! So sad to discover that one of my favorite Quechee eateries has closed its doors for good. Last year they changed owners and names (River Stones), and still seemed to try and keep the some of the same foods, but the new menu wasn't that great and the changes made to the interior robbed it of its warmth and charm, so about a month ago they closed unexpectedly and are no more."
