"Kid friendly. Vegetarian friendly. And free chips and salsa from a self serve warmer bin is the cherry on top. Chips are free with $5 purchase. Beer and great cocktails. We got the mangoyita and it was delicious! You could easily just get drinks and free chips and salsa and call if a day! veggie tacos with squash are just ok would be better with just beans and cheese. The guacamole was too oniony and the small container they serve it in makes it hard to dip. But this place is great. We would be be back in a heartbeat. Prices are reasonable!"

"Unbelievable! Amazing food and service! The staff is super helpful, whether you eat there or go to eat! I've come to this place for over a year and it's still disappointing me! I even moved to the east side of the city and will drive to the northwest to eat here! PLease does not confuse with the near UofA campus! That was a disappointment and is not related, although the name is the same! Come back with family and friends for years!"

"Wow, this place rocks. great ambiente and character. hipster like. very friendly, attentive staff. everyone smiled and told us hello. I love how to serve drinks in mason cans. I had the big jim, which is a huge cheese covered biscuit with a land fried chicken breast covered in the middle. I added a fried egg. some speck and kartoffel salad finished the plate. the wife had the grilled sweet breakfast, that is her take on huevos rancheros. were crispy hash brown, homemade tortillas and some yellow watermelon. it was so good that I had to order one. yes I had two breakfasts and didn't even leave the table. gluttony is a sin, so I'm in difficulty, but it was so worth it. we will be back as soon as they have a huge menu and dinner options. we recommend this great connection to all our friends and all tucsonans."

"Food was good, especially the carrot juice. The service was very weak. Slow to take order. Then when two persons ordered orange juice they eventually brought one and stated sorry this is the last of it we have to go to the store. Worst part is they weren't busy. I have only been to the Hurst Texas location before and the service there is impeccable. Would recommend toast 101 when visiting Tucson."

"Loved seeing a short line out the door on a Friday morning; knew we were at the right place. There was no wait since we sat at the counter and got to watch the plates being sent out of the kitchen. A fruit plate caught my eye looking fantastic. Of course our breakfast was perfect and exactly what we ordered. Staff were so friendly and cheerful I see why locals eat here. Great spot! I love bagel breakfast sandwiches but hate making them at home."

"That was our first time here. it's a job at the counter, then they have one seat and they bring her to eat. we had breakfast when we were there. the menu is a bit limited to breakfast. but there are good decisions. I had the chorizo and eier burrito. it was amazing. great taste. a little spicy for me, but I don't like the things very sharp. That was a little hot, but I ate all of it. all others also enjoyed theirs. everything came hot and fresh. service was good. fast and friendly. the prices were reasonable. I would recommend trying this place for a good Mexican food."

"Oh Anello… simple perfection. I’m a huge fan of restaurants that have small menus with a handful of items they just knock out of the park and Anello is a perfect example. You can really see, feel, and taste the craftsmanship and commitment to their art. We’ve visited about 6 times in the last year since moving to Tucson. Anello is a small and intimate restaurant with just a handful of tables in front of an open kitchen. The seasonal vegetable plate and salad are always artfully composed and just delicious. The pizzas are magic…I’d say the best pizza in Tucson (and there are A LOT of Italian restaurants and pizzerias in Tucson). The ingredients are fresh and high quality. It’s apparent that the chef has a seasoned skill when it comes to preparing and firing the dough for the pizzas. Along with the food, they have a nicely curated selection of wines and amaros/digestifs. Tucson is so lucky to have such a special place!"
