"This Nuba Gastown is the worst place we have ever been. It is nothing like the Nuba Yaletown. We waited 20 mins before finally getting served. Don’t know her name she was friendly, but seemed like a deer caught in headlights. She took our order which was hummus and pita appy, dinner was a Grilled Mixed Mezze for 2 people. Also a bottle of Rose’ which was the bright spot of our dinner. We got all our food before even getting our wine which came 5 mins later. Waitress did a disappearing act after we got our wine. I don’t mind pouring my own wine, but the whole dinner. She finally came by at the end of meal asking how it was, told her a grilled meal means it comes out hot or at least warm. Says I’ll tell someone. You would think a manger would come by and say sorry. Nope. Travis was a waiter serving other tables and realized we were not be looked after. So he took it upon himself to help us out.if anyone reads this and choses to try this place make sure you ask for Travis as I noticed he really looks after his tables. It seemed to us our food was served from a buffet or was leftovers sent from the other Nuba’s which are in high end neighbourhoods. We chose this one because it was close to Queen ElizabethTheater before the play. This is the first bad review I have ever done. I don’t like doing it, but if no one comes too ask or apologies then this is the only way to get point out to NUBA Gastown. ."

"We went on a weekday and there was a line up, so we waited. The manager there gave the next table to the group that they know. It happened for two tables in a row when we were here first with a reservation. There are choices in their menu but the rice roll tasted HORRIBLE. The skinny manager has absolutely no manners. Other than the rice roll, majority of the food was okay."

"Two tips when picking up a salad here. Get there before noon so that you get first choice of the fresh food don't overload your container you will pay $17 for your salad otherwise! Excellent fresh salads and fruits. Keep it healthy Vancouver!"

"Boba Monster is so good! I went here for a friend's recommendation and I was so happy! The beads were warm, soft and chewing! The drinks we ordered were also delicious! I recommend drinking the brown sugar ice cream!"
