"You might walk by it and think ,oh just another bistro but the food and service place it in my top ten to go for a nice meal or coffee and desert. I went twice this month , first time was a bouquet of flavors, yesterday was ok and some things were hit and miss. Their house specials off the menu are recommended as these are some of the best dishes and they have a risotto to die for."

"We finally decided to try Mary Browns chicken and we're not that impressed. The service was fast but that was about the only positive thing I could say about the experience. The chicken had very little taste to it and seemed quite greasy. The tators...were good but again we're very greasy. I would assume most people like the grease so for those people this will not be an issue. We also had a potato salad which again had very little taste to it."

"We stopped into the Wendy's on 34 Ave and 101 Street in Edmonton this evening for a late diner around 9:40 pm. The internet said they were open until midnight. At 10:14, they shut off the dining room lights , leaving us in the dark. I asked them why they turned off the lights and was told that they were now closed. I asked them about the closing time posted online and they said that the drive thru was open until midnight but the dining closed at 10:00. As soon as we left, they turned the lights back on. I found this to be rude and very disrespectful to a paying customer. We ended up, finishing our meal in our car. There is no reason why they could not just lock the doors to stop more customers from coming and wait the additional 10 minutes until we were finished. If they were in a rush to clean up, they could have just talked to us. With multiple Wendy's locations in Edmonton, I will not be back to this location."

"This time it was the 18 piece meal for $48. After a morning of pre-move house cleanup it was nice to call in the order and pick it up (delivery wasn't available until after 4pm). My wife and in-laws ate our fill plus we'll have leftovers for dinner. I really enjoy the chicken although I'll echo a previous comment that I find the macaroni salad dressing too strong."

"Eat was good, except it wasn't exactly what we ordered, she didn't let us end and when we tried to explain our order, she made it wrong anyway. she gave us our drinks and when we took them and it was root beer... instead of koks she told us that we caught someone else, although it was just us in the restaurant. not friendly to not a good service."

"I specifically wanted to go here after having looked for Vietnamese places on TripAdvisor., as I love that cuisine and we unfortunately don't have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in Cape Town. First little disappointment was that we were looking for a relaxed sit-down lunch, with some wine ideally, and at Hoang Long it's more a fast food style place you have to stand in a line then order yourself and you get buzzed when it's ready, grab a drink from the fridge and of you go. Obviously not their fault, just our misunderstanding. It was just after the main Canadian lunch time (we tend to go a bit later for lunch than the locals, not before 1pm so the place looked like a bomb had just exploded and we struggled a bit to find a clear table. I eventually found one that I cleared myself, but the table was covered in sticky soy or fish sauce or whatever and it wasn't too easy to attract the not overly friendly waitress if she could please give me a cloth to clean the table (at no point did she consider this should maybe be her job, not mine, but never mind, I just wanted to sit down The nearby washroom provided me with paper towels and water in the end (if I would have waited for the waitress to come to our help I would probably still have been sitting there waiting... , so table cleared and cleaned....eventually our food was ready, but unfortunately, that of my husband's (who was already not too impressed with the place so far , spicy beef on jasmine rice, was cold. He couldn't be bothered to bring it back so just had two bites. My seafood soup was nice be it a bit bland so I had to add a lot of soy sauce to give it some taste, but that can obviously just be a personal thing. I was planning to come back for the Vietnamese spring rolls, but unfortunately didn't make it any more before my departure so that will have to wait til next time."

"I think this is one of the better Vietnamese pho places and I particularly like the way how well lit their restaurant is. Lots of windows so lots of natural lighting gives it a welcoming, clean feeling atmosphere. The staff was friendly enough and the pho (P1) was tasty enough but I feel the broth was a little bland. They added lots of green onions though which I like and big helpings of been sprouts and basil! Portions are fair. This restaurant is worth a stop if you're in the area."

"Understaffed, which puts service at the loosing end of the battle. Food often is cool, definitely not hot, and refills never come. Nice looking but that's all that they have going for them. Menu is outdated, they need new staffing and management is never seen."

"It was my first time- I took a friend for the all you can eat lunch. She explained the process, that we got to pick a protein and cook it ourselfs on a salted rock slab. We both had the lamb, which was amazing. The serving size was quite large for what I 'd call a 'warm up ' to the sushi. The sushi itself was very fresh, prepared quickly. The all you can eat included a beverage which was nice, not every place I 've been to does that. We tried just about every type of creation on the all you can eat menu, and ate it all. It was well worth a trip and the value for the price was outstanding."
