"Just wanted to share the experience I just had at Flings Fried ChickenFor some reason I had a huge craving for their taters I haven't been there since I was in grade school. So I decided before work to go grab my mom and family some food . Of course i forgot my wallet and it's a 60+ dollar order. I panicked , asked if he accepted e-transfer .. anything I live in Tecumseh so going home and grabbing my wallet and making it back on time for work in 30 mins was just not an option .. I went back to my car to call my mom to have her come meet us and the owner came out to offer me to take the food with the promise I would come back .. someone who's never met me, just recognize that obviously I was stressing out and having my 3-year-old daughter with me. I talked to him briefly about business and how he recently took over from the previous owner of 30+ years, We talked about being parents and how 2-3 year olds are so much fun lol. He asked me to leave a review... I thought maybe by posting this we could get him some new business or anyone else who'd like to leave him a positive review.I'm so humbled at his generosity and kindness"

"Came into this place early evening on a Saturday and things were fairly quiet. I ordered a chicken platter with fries, and my girlfriend ordered a falafel wrap. She also ended up asking about their sauces, all of which are homemade, and available for order! They had some pretty interesting sauce flavors, from the standard sweet spicy (MUST try , to some more fruity flavors like spicy mango, spicy raspberry, to some VERY interesting flavors like an avocado sauce. The owners were AMAZING they let us sample each sauce while telling us about exactly what went into each sauce (the avocado doesn’t have any sugar! . They gave us a complimentary little plastic container of the avocado sauce by far our favorite. The avocado sauce wasn’t watered down AT ALL, very thick and full of avocado flavor. Don’t expect anything like guacamole, it’s still definitely a sauce. Back to the main food falafel was freshly prepared and fried (we had to wait a bit, which of course is expected , and the chicken shawarma was amazing. Generous portions of garlic sauce and hummus. The side salad was nicely dressed as well, wasn’t an afterthought or anything. The avocado sauce definitely gives me California vibes and I enjoyed it with the fries (although some may give me side eye for saying that . The owners are a very friendly couple, and the restaurant gave off friendly, neighborhood vibes. They recognize regulars by the voice when they order, joke around with their customers, and even talked about and offered us samples for their rice, which they suggested for me the next time I come by, which can’t be soon enough."

"Update:. After several experiences as stated below, I no longer order from here. I'm back at my faithful longstanding Napoli Pizza Fresh ingredients, lots of choices. Altho my last order seemed to be missing the sausage on both pizzas had way more good experiences than bad with these guys."

"Me and my partner got a pad Thai chicken tofu. It was terrible. Tasted so sweet and a lot like ketchup as well. When you go to a restaurant with Thai in its name, we expect authentic pad thai at the very least. Horrible experience, left with barely eating anything. The server was very kind though."

"We return here again and again if we want a casual and affordable meal. Service from the wait staff is always quick but they always give you plenty of warning if the kitchen is backed up by their huge take out business. There are lots of traditional items on the menu and always several specials for main courses. We have our favorite items like chicken delight, wings, souvlaki and their Penalty Box fettuccini. Their fries are delicious, nice and chunky but fluffy on the inside. Because they are celebrating their 25th anniversary we were each given a complimentary water bottle which was appreciated. Congratulations and keep up the great work!"
