"The nice things was the Lamb Carre.....or the meat plates......but this was NOT greek food, you can get this anywere.... most disappointing were the greek great white beans..in tomato sauce....for that, they opened a tin of Heinz...baked beens...."

"Delicious food and lots of menu items to choose from. The burgers are fantastic. We've been there twice and the second time my husband had the spare ribs which he also immensely enjoyed. Maybe they need more help as the wait time for everything was...a little long, but the food more than makes up for it! Can highly recommend"

"Today I visited a friend in the hotel asterkrug an der alsterkrugchaussee. this is a best Western hotel and is in the top price class. when we, my dog, wanted to stay in the hotel and I did not want to stay in the hotel, we went to the beautiful hamburger sunshine on the beautiful asterlauf. they can follow the as terrace almost from the source to the mouth. they can see and experience the most diverse landscapes. at the asterlauf there are also various restorations in which they can return for a large or small refreshment. "Der erster Blick bzw.der Name täuscht. Der Bistro ist in Wirklichkeit ein sehr feines Restaurant.Das Gebäude war früher ein Transformator-Gebäude und hatte eine lange Geschichte.Das Restaurant ist nicht sehr groß,aber sehr gemütlich eingerichtet.Die Terrasse mit Blick zur Alster ist groß und auch sehr gemütlich. Die Speisekarte ist klein aber dafür sind die angebotene Speisen sehr lecker,optisch sehr gut angerichtet und die Preise bewegen sich in die mittlere Preiskategorie.Personal ist sehr freundlich und beraten bei der Speisenauswahl.Die Weinkarte ist hervorragend und hat sehr gute deutsche und ausländische Weine.Sauberkeit ist überall vorhanden.Das Lokal ist sehr zu empfehlen."

"Well, as it's name suggests, it is a restaurant serving mostly pork. In reality, it is a little bit like a pub inside. There are a range of schnitzel dishes and some with pork steak. We had one of each. They have an English menu....The food was fine, like good pub steak and chips (but pork). The portions are generous, but you can have smaller ones. Spatzle by the way is soft pasta which is then fried. Astra is the local beer and was excellent. Service was excellent also."
