"Although the place is not excellent, the staff is great and the food is good. I go there as often as I can. Prices are decent, not cheap, but not too expensive. And the menu contains quite everything you would eat daily."

"I have to admit that form time to time I 'm surprised that I discover new places once more the proof that you never really know all the places in town! So please find here my thoughts on this place. I was here for a...business lunch during a technical seminar hosted by the hotel: location inside Hotel Timisoara at the first floor the Belvedere restaurant. As mentioned is inside a hotel still is a restaurant that is open regardless that you are or not an overnight customer of the hotel. Very god seating capacity, nice atmosphere. Parking near the hotel only a paid park house because in front of the hotel is constructions work going on so the former parking is not there anymore. As mentioned in the title very good for business lunch/dinner. service very good slightly slow due to the high head count, but overall good very professional waiter work. food very good even that is a buffet style beef was absolutely great, the csorba Romanian style sour soup was also very good so overall very good lunch experience. I have to admit unexpectedly good. I will have to try the place on its own, for sure I 'll return. prices from my perspective pocket friendly meaning you get very good quality for your money I 've chosen mid range for price but the quality of the food is towards fine dinning. Given this if you are a guest of the hotel or you just look for a place to dine in Timisoaras center I recommend this restaurant, hope you 'll enjoy."

"I had the opportunity to eat in Gradina Banateana again today. The taste of the food is excellent, the type of food is usually Romanesque traditional. The staff is very friendly even late on Sunday night. Parking in the restaurant farm, located at 50 meters... from Timisoara center and a few meters from Bega river in a beautiful park. The only drawback I see is that we say the staff was tired and did not bring the food for everyone at the same time, so that two of us eat and the 3rd eat 15 minutes late. Nonetheless, was not really disappointed and safe will return for taste!"

"With my team from work we've decided we go for some dinks and dinner on Thursday evening in April ... the place of choice Riviere in the center of the city on the shores of the Bega river. Location near the park of Justice...on the shores of the Bega river, a good size terrace and the weather was nice enough to sit outside. if you arrive by car there is payed parking on the streets near by. Also they have an inside space too, with a good seating capacity if you prefer not to sit outside. Music on the terrace was not too loud so we could enjoy a good conversation. Service I would say in the average region of what you get in Timisoara, nothing special to highlight , just the typical bad habits, they come with the menu and say I'll be back , well it will be 20 minutes till they are back, you order your drinks and it takes a while till those arrive, etc ... as said average. Food good options on the menu, but not everything was available. We choose different things ourselves some guys took pizza a decent average not worst but not better from what you typically get. I went for a Schnitzel ... not bad but also just above average in terms of taste, otherwise a bit oily (the usual mistake made with the Schnitzel). Drinks good selections ... we went for beer from the draught. Prices I would say fair and with a very good price to quality ratio ... not too expensive for what you get ,...and the accept credit card. Overall it is an average place not standing out from the plethora of similar choices you have in Timisoara ... Will I be back? ... sure ..."

"We visited here twice (2 nights running), the first evening was as a result of a disasterous attempt to eat in a restaurant close to Unity Square. The reception we were offered was perfect. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and professional. I ate the fillet steak which was cooked to my complete satisfaction, I imagine One of the best in Timisouara. My partner ordered the mussels and said they were cooked as good as the ones prepared in the Mediterranean. So they get the thumbs up also. The deserts were in a word, magnificent. Thank you for a truly enjoyable evening, good food, served by courteous staff, in an atmosphere that lends itself to comfort and enjoyment. The icing on the cake for me was the impromptu firework display which happened as we arrived (clearly not organised for us, but having had a marvellous viewing point, really appreciated). Our second visit was a spontaneous one, we had a delightful evening and eating a large array of meats and cheeses with Romanian dips and sauces. I would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant."
