"La Caverne in the Cote-des-Neiges is just a stone's throw from the metro station of the same name. La Caverne is a small Russian restaurant, famous for its cuisine and also for its atmosphere. The name is very well chosen, because you enter a semi-basement whose decoration actually makes you think of a cave. On the walls there are authentic bear heads and photos of celebrities who have passed through the restaurant. The menu offers typical Russian dishes. A tasting menu is suggested if you prefer to try different specialties. The starters and dishes are arranged in the center of the table to share with your companions. The drinks menu offers a great selection of vodka at very reasonable prices. There is no possibility of mixing the vodka with juice because it is served directly in shot glasses to drink calmly throughout the meal. Finally, the place is enlivened by singers, singing Russian songs all night. A cozy place to try with a group of friends."
