"We come here a couple times a year for dinner, in the past we always enjoyed our meal, not this time.The chicken wings looked unappetizing (disgusting yellow colour) and had no taste. The Manchurian chicken did not look like the food we ordered in previous visits and had a different taste. None of the food tasted great. It was a waste of money and I won't be back. As well, they brought us lukewarm water to drink and when we asked for cold water, they brought a replacement tumbler and the water was still warm. I was not impressed by the service or quality."

"Been to Jamaica house and what concerns me is the females who operates the front area wearing some long nails and a head full of weave hanging down all over. "Had dinner there and it was great. It’s been renovated and looks modern and clean. The food was delicious. We had the cauliflower bites and the Butter Chicken with rice and Naan. They even added fresh parsley to the rice! Loved that. Our server Amanda...was quick and friendly. Definitely a nice place to go to now that it’s all cleaned up! We’ll definitely be back even though we live closer to the trinity commons location. This one is worth the drive."

"Update August 1 2022: Went in today and ordered LG BBQ fry chicken with Rice and peas, a small curry goat with white rice and coleslaw and a fry dumplin. The curry goat was good and the white rice was okay. The BBQ fried chicken was disappointing. The chicken while bland was smothered in the BBQ sauce. The rice and peas was awful, it was way too soft, clumpy and unevenly cooked. I did not get the coleslaw I paid for, which was surprising as it was not mentioned there'd be a charge for it. The cashier was friendly and engaging but the food here is too inconsistent. This is my 3rd order here and so far only one order was good. Update : Used skip the dishes to place a 7pm order and I was quite disappointed in the difference of the quality of food I received. The fry chicken was dry, the bbq chicken was hard and seemed like it has been left out since lunch, the jerk pork left much to be desired as there was a lot of oil, fat and skin. It was also quite unusual to have fresh, raw onions and carrots cut up on top of the jerk pork. Down from 5 to 2 stars.... The food was fresh and delicious. The lady at the cash was pleasant, she might have been one of the owners, she also made inviting conversations while I waited on my order. I ordered a large BBq-Fry and a small curry goat, the portions were appropriate and fair. The restaurant is clean and I would definitely recommend Jamaica Island."

"Went in around 9PM someone peaked from the back (no hello or communication) , no one attended cash for ~5+ minutes, No other customer in the store simply walked out. If you're closed, put a sign or lock the door. If you can't attend or make/keep customers, how can you expect to stay in business? I've tried going to this location twice, and cashier seems to be absent. Haven't been able to try the food."
