"We have been in ensenada over two months and have been here several times and have never been disappointed. If you like hand crafted beer you will be delighted. Try the stout and the awsome lPA . Wow wow wow. Also the wood fired pizza cannot be beat. Lovely restaurant inside and their courtyard is fabulous. If you are going to ensenada this is a must. Please take note: they are located on 9th and Ruiz in the big white building on the corner."

"We were staying nearby, and ate here a few times....the last time we had food here it was a Saturday late afternoon, sat outside to watch the sunset, which is spectacular, they will allow your dog on the patio outside. Started off with the best margaritas, Miguel makes the best ever margaritas.....our friends who come here won't have a margarita unless Miguel is working. Dinner was good.....I had blackened fish, wife had deep fried calamari.....we enjoyed our food. But that night I was very ill. I never went back and I didn't tell the restaurant I had been ill. I did eat salsa out of a bowl....wife didn't eat any. So I don't know what hit me. I was debating if I should mention my experience on tripadvisor. Wife's experience was fine, but not mine. The food here seems to be up and then down. It puts you off going back, at least for awhile. The restaurant has a spectacular setting under Palm trees and right on the ocean, which is stunning."

"Haliotis Is an unpretentious, simple, and elegant restaurant in Ensenada that specializes on local seafood. As it name Haliotis implies its main attraction were the once abundant and very famous Ensenada abalones. The price is not cheap, but the experience is worthwhile, if you dare...eat an endangered species. The abalone have become rare and expensive, and most of the ones we find in restaurants have been cultivated and have neither the size nor the taste of the wild-caugh abalone. Nevertheless, Haliotis is one of the best places in Ensenada for seafood. Other more popular seafood restaurantes are closer to the tourist strip. A tourist that goes out of the way to eat here, won't be disappointed. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. We always ask for the cilantro dressing in our salads. Few other places have a cilantro dressing with such good balance of flavours between cilantro and that touch of garlic that gives it the little pungent touch. We had catch of the day and a mero (grouper) prepared with artichokes and mushrooms, both extraordinary, the mero soup was also excellent. We accompanied our fish with a glass of Piccolo by Roganto. The owners and hosts, as well as the service, are always corteous, with a kind word, and helpful. The atmosphere is quite and relaxed, and the price to flavour ratio is excellent. We will keep going back."

"I was in Ensenada just for the day (cruise stop). I was walking down the main shopping street on a quest to find a place with wi-fi. An acquaintance told me he had just seen a guy on the corner trying to drum up some...business and and mentioned wi-fi. Luckily, I found him. He escorted me just off the main street to Tequila's They took such great care of me! Right away got me the wi-fi password. I ordered and enjoyed a mango margarita. The guacamole was an incredible value and I could have made a meal just out of that, but another patron told me they had fresh fish every day and that's what I ordered. Freshly and simply prepared, it was delicious. The wi-fi was fast an not troublesome. Baseball playoffs were on and it was great fun with the Dodger fans. Bathrooms were modern and clean. The man behind the bar may have been the owner. I can tell you I felt welcomed and well taken care of. My 2 margaritas, bottle of water, guar chips, and fish entree were $23. I enthusiastically recommend!!"
