"A friend suggested this place for a business lunch. He is a regular. Googled it, mapped it and still took me 10 mins to find once I was parked. But that aside the place is unique and excellent. I posted a photo of the wall covered in old string instruments from around the world. Family run, he is in the kitchen most days and she does all the deserts. Today they had a guest chef from a long ago closed Chinese restaurant so Chinese was on the menu. Shrimp in a slightly spicy sauce, vegetables and white rice. Start with a small but ok salad bar with homemade pie and it was perfect. I suggest to reserve even though we did not. Oh yeah, those shrimps were all you can eat...... Just ask for more. Great address!!!"

"Sushis de bonne qualité (fraîcheur et goût) mais peu variés. L'endroit fait cantine et tout juste bon pour un fast-food le midi. MAIS : le poulet sésame sauce teriyaki (chaud) avec une portion de riz vaut le détour, je n'y vais d'ailleurs que pour cela."

"Recently visited here and were very disappointed. We arrived and apart from one other table of locals who left when we arrived the place was empty. We were seated next to the bar in one of the two crappy two seat tables which didn’t bother us to be honest as we understand that we shouldn’t be on a bigger table, even though it was completely empty. We waited over 15 mins for orders to be taken but the server just stood behind the bar eating and drinking whilst talking to his friends that were standing at the bar. Even the lady server wasn’t interested in us, it was if we had interrupted their dinner break and we were an inconvenience. The place wasn’t that clean as the cutlery and table cloth were dirty and the carpets hadn’t been vacuumed well. This wouldn’t have been a problem if we were given good service, as long as the service and the food is good I’d be happy to deal with anything else. We stood up for attention and were blatantly ignored so we left immediately and then was greeted with arrogance. A shame as we’ve only ever experienced friendly service in Geneva. Would not recommend this place at all. We ended up going a few doors up to the Brasserie-Restaurant de l’Hôtel-de-Ville on the corner which fantastic where the food and service was outstanding and we happily indulged and spent CHF200 and left after an hour very satisfied!"

"What a wonderful and delicious experience. in any case a reservation! we had fondue at another popular place, but this place has it up! They have a great choice of wein and desserts (high recommend the gruyer cream, so good! . still think of the delicious fondue, salat and soup!"

"Dined at le Jardin on a Saturday evening, the restaurant was fully booked. We chose the menu with truffles, 4 course of pure delight. Each course was very well presented and with great flavor. The wine we chose was a local Swiss red that complimented the dishes perfectly. They have valet parking, which is necessary, as it gets so busy and difficult to park anywhere close to the hotel. The only down side was the waiting time for drink, to be served, etc..possibly short staffed as there was only 2 waiters (Saturday night!). Apart from that, it was an excellent evening with some truly flavorsome dishes. Not cheap 300 CHF for 2 incl. wine."
