"We were in six of which a celiac person. The card was for the mother's party and so a little limited. However we could choose according to our inclinations. good the fishing frog so also the duck liver jumped in the pan with apple cloves. the tournedos of beef was served on a slice of toasted bread and under a slice of duck liver, a kind of tournedos to the reddens. sin that the meat was too much cooked (just pink) in spite of asking for it to the blood. lasagna (for celiacs) did not like. Good desserts. wine paper not very large but there are good wines. good service but waiting for quite long dishes. very pleasant environment. you can also eat in the garden. who suffers from gluten intolerance or lactose here can eat well."

"We only needed a light lunch so decided to share a Pizza. This looked like an ideal place, modern, clean and welcoming. We ordered a Pizza to share, no problem, brought two plates and cutlery, and with two small beers came to 23 CHF £19)....The food and service was excellent. The toilet doors are operated from behind the bar to stop people walking in off the street so that they can make sure they are not misused. The staff are friendly, efficient and, of course have excellent language skills. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lugano."

"We stumbled into Osteria Cyrano as travel weary diners with no expectations from this unassuming place in a back street. However, the moment we walked in, we felt an instant warmth, welcoming atmosphere and delicious looking food. We enjoyed an exquisite meal on a tranquil...terrace with a delightful host who clearly take pride in this quality establishment, and rightly so!"

"We booked our table in advance to make sure that there won 't be any issue. When we arrived, the waiter could not find our name on the list and only after checking it 3 times he managed to find it. Not a great start....We then ordered our food, but the waiter did not actually register it on his device so after roughly 10 minutes he actually came back and usked us again because he forgot about it. Again, not collecting points here. When ordering the wine my s.o. was just given 3 options by the waiter, not even showing her the wine menu. Similar with my beer, I could choose if I wanted to have a lager or something else, and I had a choice between two sizes. Amazeballs. I had no idea what beer I would be drinking and my girlfriend just knew that she would be having a glass of name xy , that 's it. The homemade spaghetti were alright, but not as great as you might expect. Homemade pasta usually oozes freshness and is just a few levels above others. This one wasn 't. As a whole, it was definitely not worth it. It 's alright, but the price would ask for better service and even better food."

"We had the set menu the first night and a la carte the next. Both evenings the food was delicious. The view from the window seats is gorgeous especially as darkness falls and the lights over the lake come on. The service was wonderful - you certainly felt special. The courses were plentiful and there was no hurry at any point during the meal - the first night we were there 2 and a half hours! Against - well the portions are small and although the food is excellent it is expensive. The fact we went twice however says it all!!"
