"Friends travel from tue city of St Marys to come here. White friends and Philo friends. Bring their babies and all.Great service and yum food. Quail was particularly yum. I will find the missing star when they introduce BYO beer (presently BYO wine - or reasonably priced beer Laos, which is fine, but I don't love wine and I really like good beer which beer Laos is not, although it evokes fond memories of "tubing" in Vang Vieng back in 2002, so seriously, what's the dilly-o, make it more social and less chardonnay sipping lame-o and let me enjoy my fine German beers while we eat 9 dishes leaving room for dessert).Apparently the friend ice cream is something else. They were out of that this evening - it was hectic for a minute there.While I would like to say it was authentic and all that, I would be lying. I remember Laotian food being spicy. 0/9 dishes were spicy. Including the som taam / tam maa hung."

"American-esque Deli sandwiches in downtown Marrickville. Didn't expect it did you? Well you're in for a treat. This place is brand new, clean and modern looking with a great menu of deli sandwiches you can either eat in or take away. Such a refreshing menu choice given we're in the heartland of vietnamese/greek food. I can never go past pulled pork .. but for once I feel like i should return and just work my way through the menu. Perhaps you should too."

"We randomly stumbled upon this place with a couple of friends, we had a 3 year old with us so needed to be kid friendly, the food was really healthy and freshly made, the kid liked the minty green pancakes, the hot chocolate taste like it was made from real dark chocolate, and the wait staff was very friendly Overall a good experience and a good healthy option, the downside is that the meals was a little expensive but worth it once in a while"

"If you love Vietnamese food and are keen for something different, check out this menu- and it's really inexpensive. You can expect vermicelli dishes and pho, but the ingredients are really interesting. I had the sweet potato vermicelli with lotus root and mushroom. It was delicious and a good sized dish for $13! The rice paper rolls with soft shell crab, rice vermicelli and apple were fantastic. <br/ <br/ My friend and I visited Archie and Kirk on 12th May on a recommendation, but when I went online to check it out, it looked quite ordinary. However, it seems there has been a change of ownership. The cafe is tastefully styled, yet unpretentious. The staff are very friendly- it seems to be family-run. The service was professional and fast. The cafe is on a funky strip set apart from the main drag with a record store and Gasoline Pony. What more do you need?"

"On the morning after I ran the Sydney half marathon, and while it doesn't look so much, the French toast was actually delicious, which I think was the choice of the use of sourdough, which was not strongly absorbed in the egg mix. not amazing, but I can't really complain and the coffee was also quite good."
