"What a terrace! freshly made brote, but above all what seem lovingly handmade sweet joys! try the millefeuille, her light and airy bake with divine custard and perfect trembling. beautiful chocolate plate from 3 species of chocolate (white/milk/dark). beautiful fruity... spicy brioche. and finally a beautiful gooey even brighter and airy frangipani. if I had come out here with a visit every day without putting stones on, I would have."

"We have lunched a little by chance, discouraged by other impersonal and noisy restaurants. this tiny place of 5-6 tables outside and a little less in the room attracted us by its very limited map and a nice selection of natural wines. It is true that the portions are light but the fresh, well selected and above all well cooked products, pallize this. we tested a natural rose of the winemaker gardois pibarot excellent and original. Finally, the waitress is very friendly and with little care."

"We stumbled across this little gem en route to a couple of other restaurants we'd spotted on the Trip Advisor website: it didn't feature, as it seems we are the first to review it. Appearances suggest this to be a one-woman establishment, as the charming lady who cooked our lunch and served us was the only member of staff we saw this Saturday lunchtime (though a helpful regular offered to assist with any translation of the menu we might require). A delicious meal of lamb cutlets with Dauphinois potatoes for my mother and me, and a generous portion of tagliatelle with scallops for my father, washed down with a 50cl carafe of very drinkable house white, followed by delicious homemade desserts (at only €3.50 each - one of the best chocolate mousses I've ever had for me and tiramisu for my parents) came to €20 a head (including a fairly generous tip). From her tiny kitchen, Madame offered a fairly small, but varied menu of four or five meat dishes, a couple of pasta dishes, several salalds and baked cheese offerings, along with a couple of fish dishes; our delicious puds were chosen from a selection of about six. The dining room wasn't much bigger than someone's dining room at home, with 6 or 7 small round tables and room for about a dozen or so customers, so we'll be hoping there is room for us when we return, as I feel sure we will. Probably too small to visit with young children, but perfect for lunch for 1-4 adults."

"We ate the daily special menu on a Monday lunchtime. This included seafood samosas to start (generous serving) followed by plaice fillets on vegetables and rice. All very nice, the local rose accompanied it all very nicely. Also very reasonable price. I recommend this restaurant....Forgot to add that the location is OUTSTANDING, slap bang in front of the best Roman Arena in the world. What's not to like?"

"We recently introduced some more friends to this restaurant which is one of our favourites in the area. It's always innovative fresh seasonal food with something to delight every palate. The value for money is excellent. I always come away thinking is better even better...than my memory of it. We are so lucky to have such a splendid bistro not too far away so that we can go there regularly. Bravo Jérôme Nutile."

"A little resto between friends on Thursday night, a little kind waitress, who doesn't even notice the orders. So in the end, she was mistaken on 3 out of 5 dishes, as well as on 1 dessert. Except for these mistakes, the meal was very good although light in fries. service is a little slow but we forgive the world."
