"We were recommended this place by our Airbnb for authentic Portuguese and it certainly didn't disappoint! We had this extremely sweet English speaking waiter that helped us order. We aren't used to ordering by the kg so we told him we wanted smaller plates and he gave us perfect portions. We ordered barnacles and he gave us instructions on how to eat it. He gave us a wonderful recommendation on white wine that paired beatifically with our meal. We ordered stuffed calamari, mixed clams, barnacles, langoustines(not in the menu, he said it's only there when it's in season). Everything was delicious! And again the service was just spectacular!!"

"Sendo clientes habituais todos os anos, desta vez a experiência foi menos conseguida.Habituados à boa qualidade geral, caímos numa hora de grande afluência de clientela, o que provavelmente explica algumas falhas: muito tempo de espera; entrada de cavalas alimadas temperada com azeite de muito má qualidade o que dava um gosto estranho; um dos pratos acompanhado com feijão verde praticamente crú, enquanto o outro, idêntico, embora de textura firme estava bem cozido.Positivo: o pessoal continua simpático (especialmente quando a casa fica mais vazia), peixe de boa qualidade e bem grelhado, uma excelente sopa de peixe."

"This place always seemed to be full and though we had decided to go in many times we would have been waiting for a table so passed on by. We did eventually manage to go in and we were not sorry. The food is plenty...variable and most enjoyable."

"Totally amazing - this place from the outside looks like a food court. Almost walked by it. We walked up and was pleasantly surprised. The views are epic, but the food was the star. Service was 5 star. We went twice and in the 10 day visit to Portugal and I'd wish we'd gone at least another. Price is competitive and pretty on point. I can't say this enough.... go visit this restaurant"

"Authentic, clean, bright beautiful restaurant specialized in fish. we are here three times now and the standards are exceptional. always full and always full of natives also in the early part bad weather. they have to try to drive too. some skills needed to find a park, but if they know it's pretty easy."
