"Chef and servant have been changed, so the food has cut corners. Taste is still the same with the same recipe, but the quality is disappointing.It used to have soft boiled egg and corns in most of the noodles. Now you will have tons of green onions.Meat is either missing or in a very small portion. Chicken Cha shu comes with the shio, not pork.Karaage and deep fried shrimps are over cooked. Also, lower your expectations for the karaage portion."

"We had a set menu for but we had people. The food was outstanding, and we enjoyed all dishes. As a matter of fact, there was so much food that we had left-overs to take home. The services were also friendly and...efficient. We had a great time!!"

"Father's Day dinner. Found live cockroach on table, probably came with plates, as it was not there in the beginning. Quietly notified the manager (not a waitor) he just looked at it, picked it up with napkin and there was no acknowledgement or apology at...all, and he just walked away as if nothing has happened. What kind of restaurant manner is this?"

"Ming Cuisine is a higher end Chinese that opened up recently in Richmond Hill.<br/ <br/ The restaurant though smallish but nicely decorated. Love the blue and white theme instead of all those glittering gold. <br/ <br/ Lunch Special $8.99 includes soup, spring roll and a noodle/rice dish. There are snacks and sides for around $5 which is great to share.<br/ <br/ Since I arrived for a late lunch, their usual double boiled soup 炖湯 was gone but replaced by fish maw soup which was good and supposed to be healthy too.<br/ <br/ For main I ordered Rice in Lotus Leaf 秘製荷葉飯. It does take awhile to arrive as they all made to order. The portion is huge! Great to share.<br/ <br/ Definitely worth coming for lunch. The special order menu can be quite interesting. Just make sure you call for reservations!"

"I ordered a medium pizza for take-out, the 'Oregano Mix ' with pepperoni, mushrooms and green peppers. I 've had pizza from here in the past and I remembered it to be better. They call it a wood burning oven pizza but I couldn 't tell by the look or the taste of it. It was overpriced (just over $20 plus tax). And the crust was not nearly thin enough for a wood burning oven pizza. The pepperoni was good, but overall the toppings were scarce. Will not be getting pizza from here again."

"This review is less about the food than it is about the business practices at Swiss Chalet. As you will see from the photo posted with this review, those ordering a Combo are entitled to either a bottle of pop or a bottle of water. However, neither was offered with the meal. Despite the signage, I was repeatedly told I was not entitled to a drink. To add insult to injury, the depiction of the Combo on the sign includes a beverage. If a beverage is not offered, ask why not or contact Swiss Chalet's Customer Experience department, though they don't seem to take any action that I am aware of. This is false advertising."

"We had the sticky fried rice, bone in chicken with black bean sauce, pork neck with XO sauce, and the sweet and sour pork. The food was good and the prices we were ok. I would like to try some other dishes here next time."

"Price very reasonable. Great, fast service. Clean restaurant. Soup we had (manchurian)? was very very good. Ordered chilli chicken and Bombay chicken. Was alright - missing the wow factor."
