"We should enjoy a warm pre-summer evening on the summer terrace and have not regretted it. the sun had still enough strength to bring one to the table, but soon disappeared behind the roofs so that we could devote ourselves to eating. Both the loupe de mer and the kitchen recommendation "old Spanish kuh" were simply but deliciously prepared. that was delivered to the fish the wrong supplement, could be fixed within minutes after a short note - such flexibility has become rare."

"We stayed with the gymnastics group in the meteora for dinner. as we had previously made sport, we ordered all "light food", such as grilled cheese, appetizer plates, grilled pepperoni or bean. eating was rather average. I had chosen an appetizer. the choice and quantity on it was ok, but the teller could have been a little bigger. the white bread served as a supplement was tarasted and could have been good from the day before, as it tasted. the service is very friendly. in the restaurant was also a few with a dog. we only noticed this when the couple went, but actually, after dogs, have lost nothing in a restaurant."

"We stayed here in June for a few days. The original building dates from but inside it is fully modernised. There are guest rooms, ours was number The room was spacious with a king size bed and crisp white linen. There windows overlooking the front of the hotel. The shower room was well equipped and quite roomy with lovely white fluffy towels. The staff made us very welcome and spoke excellent English. Breakfast was typical of the region with a selection of cheeses and cold meats alongside the cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurt and bread rolls. Eggs were also prepared to order scrambled or boiled . Fresh coffee and tea was supplied and orange juice was also provided. The guest house is spotlessly clean and modern inside. The location is ideal for exploring Speyer on foot as it is only a few steps up to the cathedral and into the main part of the historic town. It is also only a minute stroll to the River Rhine. If you have a car there is a car park right in front of the hotel, hidden from from view by shrubs and trees. We would highly recommend this establishment and look forward to staying here in the future."

"In the summer we were here once. but in the courtyard in the outside area. in the februar the dining room in the inner with original ambiente is recommended a good wine selection and tasty decoration from the region. if you order a portion and then share it in two. really delicious.We had ham today on sour herb and feldsalat with speck and poultry liver.Beides was very tasty and well dressedthe staff is friendly and I think most of them belong to the “family”.We like to come back."

"Bring cash, they don't take credit cards. we had the cordon bleu schnitzel, and it was not disappointed! so good. my hubby has the rumpsteak. from American standards it was hard and dry, even at a mid-tempo. he was happy that my carving was so big that he could have something! his kartoffel noodles were fantastic! our daughter was here a few years ago and then had a great experience. good to know that it is the test of time!"
