But definitely an elegant life experience. BUT after 100 years, the government wants the beach under this incredible place back. seems it will soon be raised...Don't miss it"

"Have been here many times. Always made very welcome by Robert and his team. His wife Anne is a great chef good variety of dishes all very well cooked and presented. Sun loungers and parasols for hire one of the best prices in the area. Daily specials in restaurant each day main course and dessert about 21-22 euros. Appetiser always offered, plenty of bread, cold water and ice replenished without need to be asked. Do try to reserve beds in advance as some days can be full. Beach shower, toilet and changing facilities available. Life guard supervised beach very safe for children. Spent every day there on recent holiday to Golfe. Already looking forward to returning next year."

"Mai Linh doesn't disappoint! And now she does it all by herself. The food is amazing and authentic. Her service is great and she is such a warm person. It can't be easy to run a restaurant by yourself and M.me Linh does it with grace. The Thai Beef, and the Squid Sauté were delicious. I tried a new dessert at her suggestion. It was the banana tapioca and it was heavenly. Highly recommend it! I love bringing my friends to her restaurant, especially when they are foodies like me."

"My boyfriend wanted to take me out for lunch and for some reason he has chosen La Fourmigue. I'm so glad he did. At first the setting was perfect, overlooking the harbor of San Juan. The restaurant has got lovely atmosphere, though it was boiling outside, on the terrace was a pleasant cool breeze. Their waiting staff is excellent, a real advert for the success of this restaurant.The owners demonstrates their love for local fish & meat through the interesting menu and expertise in cooking.I've had scallops as a starter and a seafood salad and my boyfriend's mussels couldn't be fresher. Everything pared with a wonderful and refreshing rose. For those who rather prefer a piece of meat on their plate. They have got a little steak selection, duck breast and some interesting pizzas as well (like the one with truffles).A real first class experience!"

"Le Bistro du Port Very unique food. Even though the food is unique the taste is great. The starters were all great we had two kinds of carpaccio a white fish and a salmon both great Before the meal with the bread we had mushrooms...Prepared in olive oil and balsamic vinaigrette i I think very good tasting Then we had the John Dory fish grilled on a wood grill, the way the chef prepares it was also delicious And for desert wow chocolate macaroons with real super Dark chocolate and also Had the rum cake Usually I don’t like this kind of fancy food but this time it was great tasting. And with the small Menu it was easy to decide I suggest you don’t miss this restaurant when you visit Cannes"

"Yesterday we were in this restaurant for dinner. we ordered 4 dishes, waited 1 hour and 15 minutes, then asked after the check after 10 minutes, instead of the check they brought us 2 dishes and the cook said when they want to eat.You must wait! we paid for the food we didn't eat and leave. this “restaurant” does not check the qr code for kovid and it is allowed to smoke directly at the tables. any one who has no PCR test or Qr code, as well as smoker Welcome! but don't count on food, they'll come full there!"

"My companion and I were taken here by friends who have a holiday apartment near by and eat here regularly. Our main dishes ranged from fish, salad Nicoise, steak and salmon. My friend's steak was underdone so he sent it back and it was returned more cooked within 5 minutes. I was the only one to have desert of two boules of ice cream which was very smooth and delicious. The location is nice away from the traffic and located on the marina. We could here the jazz evening from their sister restaurant that added to the atmosphere."

"Sometimes one thing is wrong at a restaurant. Other times several things. In our recent experience at NouNou other the valet car parker, everythig was wrong. The service was intolerably and unpleasantly slow from beginning to end. It took a long 45 minutes for our starters of smoked salmon, mixed salad and oysters to arrive. It can hardly be blamed on the cooking time. An hour later our main courses of the most miniature soles we had ever seen arrived. Each plate held a child sized portion. The fish was cold, the side dishes were dull and when the waiter clared the table he left one plate and all the side dishes on the table. A half hour later he arrived with dessert menus. The tarte tatins were lukewarm and mushy. The ice cream rock hard. Coffee never arrived. When the bill was requested it was wrong in so many ways it took two attempts to get it right.All in all a deplorable experience not worthy of a return visit. The neighboring restaurant, while more expensive, is a great value when compared to this miserable place."
