"Had a Bento. Attention to detail was outstanding and the flavours were something akin to something you would find in an out of the way Ryokan in Hokaido. Never had a bento as good as this one in the 5 years I lived in Japan. Almost Kaiseki. Only gripe is they should make everything come at the same time (miso soup was warm by the time the bento arrived). Otherwise flawless, not a hint of mayo anywhere. Wellington should count itself lucky to have a Japanese restaurant of this caliber."

"Great place for excellent craft beers made in-house as well as many made by other brewers. We enjoyed two of their hazy IPAs along with yummy fish and chips and an order of cheese garlic toast. Bartenders are friendly and quick, and while the food took a few minutes, it was worth it."

"3rd March: <br/ I love the food here, it never fails. We had the half and half; pepperoni and vege. I usually get garlic knots too because I am a sucker for everything garlic but unfortunately they weren 't available (odd seeming it was 6.30pm on a Saturday) <br/ <br/ The only thing that let down this experience was the lack of organisation from the staff. Don 't get me wrong, i don 't know what happens behind the scene. But firstly, there were no glasses for our sprite, that 's fine, we asked the guy if he could bring us a couple when they were ready. But unfortunately he forgot. I just asked again then got them. Then next, none of the parmesan shakers in the resturant were full, I asked them to fill mine and he did it right away. The worker then came over to us and asked to 'borrow ' our tables shaker. We assumed he would bring it back but he never did.<br/ <br/ Average customer service experience but all in all I still love the place!"

"I came down to wellington for the Cubadupa event, I was with a group of my friends when we decided to check out Eva Beva. The vibe was perfect and the experience was made when we met the lovely bartender Taya. She had such a positive energy and a great smile and really made our night. The music was awesome too!"

"We shared a wonderful meal with wonderful dear friends visiting from Australia. So glad we decided to go out of our suburb and eat here. They had great live music, that was a great volume to still be able to hold conversation without yelling and straining to hear. We all had the steak special and all steaks were cooked as requested. The staff were friendly and polite. Would definitely go out of our way to go here again."

"We got the kimchi fried rice with pork belly, the kimchi fries and the korean fried chicken (not pictured)! The fried rice was delicious, packed with flavour and different textures, every mouthful was the kimchi fries were soooooo......kimchi, in the best way!! And the fried chicken was mouthwatering! Super crisp and so so flavourful! Highly recommended!!"
