"Friendlly and so welcoming. We stayed near to Christmas and it was so picture perfect! The staff are all so lovely and can’t do enough for you. Really hard working. Location wise it’s just so perfect. The rooms are lovely and comfortable and have everything you need. We brought our dog and we were made to feel at home which was lovely. Breakfast is superb and they have a great selection to suit you. We also ate in one evening and thoroughly enjoyed. It really is a place where you feel so relaxed. Look forward to returning very soon."

"I thought that was ok, certain things like the donator kebab was kind of disappointing, cheesy chips somehow ok, but quickly went to soggy. what I was usually disappointed was the fact that we had a job for £75, we thought when we had a big job, the youngs would give us some drinks, but they said no, I felt that the customer service was not on the brand that was a little disappointed. if they want a quick bite, would be a good one to visit and take this fast bite."

"Come in this evening as a young lady, Stacey greeted me with a very warm welcome. She had advised us of the history of the pub which I really liked. As a young female I don’t tend to feel safe by myself and going out drinking can be a scary experience. Stacey and staff this evening had made me feel extremely comfortable and safe. Massive kudos to Stacey she is doing fabulous managing this place could not be a better manager. Piper x"

"Visited for breakfast. Staff are friendly, service is good and they are dog friendly. We had cooked breakfast one veggie and one not. Prices are reasonable. The meat breakfast was enjoyed although the egg was firm. The veggie one was not as enjoyable. It is...personal preference but the veggie sausages were not nice and the scrambled egg was dry. It is a small cafe and the tables are close together; not sure how accessible it would be if in a wheelchair. It was very busy and in these times it was a bit worrying, but again that is possibly just how we felt. I would go again for a quick snack but maybe not for the veggie breakfast."
