"Came for breakfast. I'm a Milwaukee local but my parents were staying in town at the Marriott. East town is a hotel bar restaurant, but reading the reviews I expected a good breakfast. Food was fine, suspiciously similar to the type of food you get at a continental breakfast where the liquid scramble eggs are sitting in warmed dishes. Same for the bread and breakfast potatoes very very standard continental breakfast fare. The kicker is they charge $17/18 for thesedishes. To be fair, the bacon egg and cheese English muffin my mom ordered looked more like an actual restaurant item, but the eggs your way that me and my dad ordered were exactly what you would find at any other hotel. The bill did notreflect the food quality. Eggs were cooked well and to order! Service was great and friendly, especially considering they were understaffed. Not sure I would try this place for dinner, considering it's a hotel bar and swinging door andpublic market/3rd ward are a block away."

"Questionable at first, but ok in the end. OK, to be fair we arrived to eat at about 3 pm on a Sunday. We were greeted immediately by someone behind the bar and were seated in the first room, where I noticed no one else was seated. And then we waited. And waited. I got up to look for someone to at least hand us menus and found lots of other people in other rooms, but no waitstaff... I returned to the table and the bartender passed by and we stopped her and told her we'd seen no one. She was horrified, took our order, and everything was fine after that.
