"Had dinner there on Friday night. There were 6 of us. It was amazing. I had the lamb shank and it was spectacular. Denise enjoyed the fish special pickerel that just came out of the water that day! So good! We will definitely be making the drive from Toronto again some night to enjoy more of this great atmosphere, friendly service and AMAZING food!"

"Visited the restaurant on June 3, 2017 as two couples with reservations for 7pm. Arrived early and were seated immediately which was great. The decor is a little dated and they could use some new tables, glassware etc. Water was delivered to the table and we were given the menus quickly. Due to the fact that we were there during the Milton Street Festival it was a limited menu. There was very little interaction between us and the waitress, she just wanted to take our orders and I think it was because they were extremely busy and not prepared for it. We ordered our appetizers and meals at the same time and the appetizers arrived fairly quickly. No complaints there. Our meals arrived shortly after and I had ordered the schnitzel. I was very under whelmed with it as it honestly looked like it was frozen cutlets. Perfectly round pieces, there was very little gravy on it and it was flavourless. In general the group was not impressed with the food. At no time while we were eating did anyone come to see how things were. We finished our meals and were not offered dessert or coffee. We waited a good 20-30 minutes for someone to come back to the table and finally we had to flag down the waitress for our bill.Perhaps because of the festival and it being very busy it could have affected things but the just of the story is we will not be returning and I will not be recommending this restaurant."
