"We felt like pho tonight and didn't want to drive to Inala and we have always walked past this place a few times. So tonight on a cold, wet and windy night we decided to pop in. <br/ We were seated and they got us a baby chair seeing we had our daughter with us.<br/ <br/ The table and chairs are what you would expect from a Vietnamese restaurant, minimal fuss table and chairs.<br/ <br/ We ordered the pho special, both in medium and along with viet iced coffee and lime soda. Drinks arrived first alomg with our side of bean sprouts, lemon, fresh chilli and basil, larger serving but was for 2.<br/ <br/ Pho was hot, clear and not oily which was a good starting point. Pho was good, plenty of meat and noodles the medium bowl was enough, could just finish it with the coffee.<br/ <br/ Will need to go back and try some other dishes, menu is quiey large. Service was average, nothing more to say.<br/ <br/ Go back, that's a yes for sure."

"Reluctantly stepped into this restaurant after seeing their poor poor rating of 2.4 on Zomato, we wasn't really sure what we could expect. However this was the only place in the whole Warrigal Square we hadn't checked out, briefly flipped through their menu outside then took a deep breath as we walked in. They are always packed every time we are here. Surely they can't be that bad.<br/ <br/ We were greeted promptly by the staff. What I originally wanted to order wasn't available so I went with the staff's recommendation which turned out to be a really great dish, Spicy Sichuan Fish Soup with rice. The flavour wasn't as pungent as the same soup at Sichuan Spice Restaurant in Sunnybank Hills but it was definitely delicious. Combination Chow Mien which is one of the dishes that we love getting from most Chinese places also tasted great. Both dishes were also of good quality and reasonably priced with huge portion that we scratched our head thinking what on earth went wrong with other reviews they have received. <br/ <br/ I ended up reading all the reviews for the restaurant and found out they had quite a rough start in 2015 which had earned them sequence of harsh reviews. If you have been to Woka Woka before in 2015 and were disappointed, maybe this is a good time to give them a second chance.<br/ <br/ Just want to add my 2 cents, 1) It's quite normal in Asian restaurant for dishes to come out as they are ready and not all at once. Certainly shouldn't be more than few minutes apart. 2) MSG is natural substance you can find in food like tomato, seaweed, cured meat, parmesan cheese, etc. Excessive consumption of MSG, just like that of anything else can cause discomfort and reaction. Different reactions and severity vary from person to person. I am allergic to MSG and the reaction is apparent but quite often find myself voluntarily eating those food containing it since it makes the food tasted so good. I am happy to deal with the consequences. You can call me greedy...anytime."

"This time we just wanted a light meal so we ordered half dozen pan fried dumplings, salt pepper prawns and shantung crispy chicken. All of them was delicious. Dumpling was cooked to perfection, prawns also perfectly cooked and well seasoned and as for chicken, inside meat was tender and crispy outside."

"Food wasn't good, but it was hot and very unhealthy. Did have steamed vegetables and some reasonable noodles and rice. A lot of the buffet is deep fried, and wasn't that bad. Very overpriced for a small container, and was more like a takeout place than somewhere people sit down to eat. The food was cooked through and tasted reasonable, unlike what a lot of the other comments here say. Food: 2"

"This place is great! Saw the bad reviews and was worried. But it was too late and I was already seated...The service was fast and friendly and the food was bang on! The Pad Thai now holds the crown as the best I’ve ever had and the steamed dumplings were the best. Give these lads a chance."
