"Leaning Tower is an Ankeny stable. If you’re new to Ankeny or just visiting, I recommend stopping here for a pizza. I ordered the Pickle Wrap pizza and Harrington pizza as well as a basket of fries. The fries were on the table within 10 minutes of ordering and the pizzas were out 10-15 minutes after that. If your a pickle fan, I highly encourage you to get the Pickle Wrap pizza. Overall great service, fantastic food, and the waitress was very friendly."

"I will start by saying this is a new restaurant in Ankeny and has only been open for a month on July 13th. I know there are going to be areas that need work. First and foremost drive through, took me 40 minutes from the time I got in line. Was nice they brought out my sweet tea, which was good once I got home to add more ice to make it cold. I ordered the Chick's meal..3 tenders I asked to get Cole slaw instead of FF, she couldn't hear or didn't understand. For I got both, I really don't eat FF, I did try a few, they were Luke warm and over salted for me. Now, the chicken tenders were delicious, buttermilk light breading, cooked to order, which could be why the drive through took so long. Tho, I watched thecurb side pick up..really wasn't moving to fast either. I will go again, next time inside. When I was at the window staff was pleasant, I was a little taken back when asked if I wanted my change back. Yes, not leaving a 12.50 tip. I am agood tipper, just not this time."

"We had a decent experience when we went this time. The food wasn't as good as the first time we were there. It wasn't bad, just not as good. There was a 25 minute wait to get our food and only 1 other table. We will definitely go back because the peanut Thai Sticks are fabulous! But, the parmesan bites were not good. Do not get those. Ever."

"Visited the Leaning Tower of Pizza located at Uptown Ankeny during a Farmer 's Market being held just a few blocks away. I mention this, because if you choose to visit this fine restaurant on a Saturday during the Spring Summer, be prepared, as all dining establishments can be rather crowded. We were fortunate to walk in and be seated immediately. We knew what we were going to get, so as soon as the waitress arrived, were ordered the 'Leaner ' specialty pizza (medium) and half order of onion rings. I 'm including a pic of the pizza, but forgot to take a pic of the rings, which were spectacular. Make no mistake, these are genuine rings. You 'll love them. As for the pizza, I always try to find something special I like about an entree that just about any restaurant in the city can make. Over the years of visiting Leaning Tower, I 've discovered it 's THE BEST DAMN SAUCE AROUND. No kidding ... that 's what sets it aside from other thin crust pizzas. So, give Leaning Tower at Uptown a visit, and try the rings and pizza."

"Stumbled on Garbonzos by accident and thankful we did. Everything was so good, fresh flavors and the falafel was . Hubs had a traditional gyro and loved it. Organic sodas and juices really top off a great meal. I took baklava cheesecake home to eat later and it was really nice as well. So good I'm trying to convince someone to open one in my town. ?Vegetarian options: Best falafel, authentic flavors."

"I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! I love when I can make my food the way I want it to taste and with only the ingredients that I know I will eat. Call me picky, that's ok. I know I am. But this place makes it easy to be that way. Lol. I love the staff also. They are all super nice and very helpful. I have a Pork allergy and they are always accommodating to those needs. They make sure the grill is cleaned twice sometimes 3 times to make sure my food is not contaminated with a pork product. I tip them well for this. It is a great joy for me to see anyone take such pride in making sure their customers are happy. I will continue coming back to this restaurant and share the experience with as many as possible in the process."
