"Customer service is stellar! I called Saturday morning, and the phone just ringed and arranged so they were super busy. Within moments of hanging up, 30 seconds or so, Al's Coney Island staff called me back to ask if they could take an order from me as they missed my call. What? No restaurant in my 54 years has called me back EVER when I hung up before the order! Go to Al's.... Your company sets the GOLD standard for excellent customer service! And BONUS... the two BLT sandwiches we ordered were delicious and so affordable... $7.00!"

"Our friend Nick has known about this place for YEARS but never told us!! What a shame! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Wish we would have found it sooner! Sam and his staff were so happy to serve us. The food was AMAZING, extremely fresh the best meat I’ve had from a restaurant in a long time. VERY CLEAN! They take pride and it shows. "This location is the best of all the Big John's. The service is always fast whether it's through drive through or ordering inside. The subs are always fresh and hot which is key. Usually I am ordering subs for the whole family and everyone has their own preference. Our order is always right although I wish there was a better way to mark them. However, we love that the menu is consistent and that iconic Big John logo wrap for the subs is like receiving a Christmas present every time! My family and I have been coming here for decades and we always bring out of towners here to try the best steak subs we've ever eaten. My go to is the Original Steak and Onion with red sauce and peppers."
