"We were staying at Velas Resort as guests of friends who owned a timeshare. We stayed 5 days, but it was not until the 4th day that we accidentally found out by way of a request for a mask. The manager asked if we were...staying at the resort. When he was told we were staying in a timeshare, he mentioned that we had an $80 credit at their restaurants or stores. We had not been informed of this and had been dining at other places. So we went to the resort owned La Ribera for breakfast, since it would be free. I do not know what the normal charge is for breakfast here, but all four of us had the buffet. Coffee, juice and water was brought to our table and it was great efficient service. for food we had to grab a plate and go to the buffet where it was encased in glass (due to covid restrictions I guess). We each had to point to an item behind the glass and a chef would dish it up. Return trips were allowed. The choices were good, but the food was not that great. It is an open air restaurant right on the beach, but they had heavy plastic covering the sides so the view was not really a view. I would not pay to have breakfast here."

"This is a very small restaurant just up from the ocean. I ordered chicken tacos. They were very small and only one wrap. They were 20 peso"s each or 5 for 60 pesos. They were very busy< many locals."

"We had take-out wraps from 2GO and they were very good. Large size and fresh, tasty ingredients. I couldn't eat all of mine. I would recommend this place if you don't want to havea sit down meal and just take something back to your condo or hotel. Good service."

"Right on the corner you'll find some of the best tortillas on earth.First you'll smell the tortillas.Then you'll feel the heat of the oven.Then see them rolling off the belt.They wrap em hot and by as many as you want. A "handful"? Sure!They also sell awesome prepared pinto beans, ridiculously good(and spicy) hot sauce and tortilla chips.All awesome, all CHEAP!"

"I keep reading about the Tacon de Marlin near the airport but this is for their second location on Honduras street. I went here one afternoon for lunch and was blown away by the quality and quantity of the food, not to mention the low...price. I went here the next day for lunch to try it again and was not disappointed. I would suggest you try the smoked marlin burrito. However, don't wait until late in the day because I believe they close around 5 or 5:30 pm."

"We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant while staying at hotel mousai. The steak was good, the potatoes were awesome, and the view was great! We tried the dessert tree and struggled to find a few bites we liked. The servers were wonderful!"
