"I have visited several times because the food is very good and reasonably priced, and the service is excellent. However, last week I visited when they first opened for the day at 11 am and the smell of bleach was overwhelming when I entered. I appreciate the fact that the staff is concerned about cleanliness, but the bleach smell was almost nauseating and I am not a person with a weak stomach or overly sensitive sense of smell. When my excellent fajitas arrived the smell of food almost cancelled the bleach smell. And I'm sure after the restaurant has been open for a while the cooking smell from the kitchen overpowers the bleach smell. In the future I will be returning later in the day when the only smell is the aroma of excellent Mexican food being prepared in the kitchen."

"Go anywhere else! We agreed this was by far the worst we've eaten in South Carolina. We ordered meat and 2 sides dinners with tea, baked chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, mac/cheese and country fried steak. None of the food was beyond warmed. Instant mashed potatoes that tasted soured as did the green beans, probably from not maintaining the proper temps in the kitchen. The baked chicken had no flavor and was so dry the only way to chew and swallow it was with mouthfuls of tea. The cheese biscuit and cornbread were not any better. The roof was leaking, the floors were greasy dirty and the service was OK. She brough refills but never did ask how the food was and neither did the cashier. There are many other, much better country or meat and sides restaurants around. Any restaurant that doesn't make mashed potatoes from scratch is never gonna be great. This was beyond bad. Baked chicken is the easiest thing to make; chickens in a pan, lots of seasoning, some brother or water, cover with foil and bake."
