"We visited woodlot for the first time for my partners birthday, which is always a risk. I'm so glad we took the leap of faith as they provided an experience that was unforgettable. Everyone loved their meal, our server was incredibly accommodating (we can be a bit difficult) and the selection of biodynamic wines and ciders was an excellent surprise. My partner is an organic, biodynamic farmer and we are so happy to have found a "farm to table" restaurant in the city that is the real deal. Thanks for a wonderful evening Woodlot, we'll be back."

"Even though he was overcrowded, eating was continuously brought out. the seats were overcrowded, as there is little space, even had to move so that they could reserve seats. the food was good. hot was hot cold was cool. some elements should be on an ice pool. lack of space...fill on the plate yo. server were very good and helpful."

"I saw a sign that said all day breakfast so we decided to head to Mars Diner. It was a cozy little diner. It looked like it was from the late 50s with its red colored seating and metal counters. All that was missing were waitresses on rollerblades dressed in those poofy poodle dresses. I would love to wear one of those poodle skirts for fun. "Grapefruitmond is a next-classic. it is the kind of place where they can take their family to brunch or take a date. on the south side there is an outside terrace and seating in the interior. expect a friendly service and a lot of summer sun when they dine on the terrace. the bathroom is not wheelchair accessible as it is an older building. they didn't have a wrapper in the washroom either. recommend one of the breakfasts or brunch options when you find yourself in the neighbourhood!"

"Nice place. It has a patio at back that feels like indoors. I ordered fish tacos and my wife ordered the chicken tacos. The fish tacos were the winner. The chicken was breaded and fried. My daughter ordered the vegetarian souvlaki which she enjoyed. Good service and ambiance. Good value."

"That was the worst sushi I ate. three stars for the service. 1 star for eating. had the sushi silver, the 6 pieces sorted sushi and 8 small rolls pieces $13.95 plus control sushi was warm and looked tired on the plate. fish was limp and sat on dried rice. suppe was bland and tasteless. salat was 5 small pieces salat, a few carrots and a warm sauce. everything in was very disappointing and tasted like the things they buy from the food business that has been sitting for a few days. but at least the food business sushi is cold. let's not go back. do not suggest that they waste their time, meal and money on this place"
