"A bit out of the way, but worth searching it out. Traditional atmosphere, reasonable prices, and excellent service. There is limited seating, but we walked in for lunch and there was a free table. We both had yakisoba (the photo from their web site is accurate), which was delicious. Others around us were eating okonomi, which we will definitely try at our next visit as it looked intriguing and is obviously a focus for this restaurant."

"Tasty but somewhat salty. Flavourful ramen, although not enough meat/protein in each bowl. Gyoza meets expectations. Prices are just a touch high for the amount of protein in each bowl. Sometimes the stock can be a bit too salty for my taste. However, the ramen usually are still good, my favourite is the Hakkai style ramen, usually not as salty."

"I just went today with my sisters, it is my first visit and I was anticipating as I have heard about this place before. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen and when it came, it came as half a bowl!!! I took a picture after mixing the noodles (shown below) and no, this picture is exactly right after it came. See the small portion?So I asked a staff how come there's so little noodles (vs. the ones from my sister which happens to be same priced, also $8.95). And the noodles are NOT cheap, they range from $7 - 15/each. My tonkotsu ramen has only 3 thin slice of meat btw and just a few strand of bean sprout with little soup. And the staff said, "oh the noodles are all the same, this is how it is. There can be no change." Honestly, I was never offered half a bowl of noodles in a restaurant before. Even if little noodle, at least pour in more soup! So I asked, "Ok....this doesn't look right at all, look, they only filled half my bowl. What about giving me more soup then?" And she talked back, and say no there's no extra soup. Extra soup has to be charged and no the noodles is reasonable and the same. Extra noodle broth has to be charged?? And when I compared my noodles and my sister's noodles (just noodles), mine is obviously lesser by at least a handful. Ok, this is it for my first and last visit to this place. As I finish my bowl of noodle, I feel like eating a bowl of soggy noodles with no soup. I barely had any soup to drink. And I have to get charged. Terrible customer service from the staff (girl who tied hair and no front fringe unlike the other girl). She was loud and talked back no matter what I asked. I just asked for soup and see no reason for such objection. I don't think the soup cost more than losing a customer. Never again!"
