"The japanese food here is excellent. It's only April 2017 and the restaurant is two months old so I think they are still figuring out how to serve fast but overall if you are looking to eat a great japanese meal izakaya style then this is the best place to go to in Adelaide."

"Went there after 8 pm for a late night dinner, Restaurant was not busy and as usual ordered Ramen, Wagyu Beef, Unagi to start with. We were simply appalled when we were served with a Ramen Bowl with severe chipped edges. Being very particular with...brokened/chipped edges on the bowl and plate, we voiced out our displeasure with a staff. He offered a replacement. The replacement was one of the worse experience we had for a Bowl of Ramen. The soup base tasted like water and it is as if it was topped out with water from the bowl that was earlier been replaced. This really pissed us off when the chef came over and tasted it and insisted it is original . We have been eating Ramen along time at this Restaurant and Genki also owned by the same owner. Never have we encountered such horrendous bowl of Ramen and being told it is original taste (Chef came out and tasted it) especially when we had actually taste the same Ramen before it was replaced. There is no way we can't tell the difference and we really got pissed off with their defensive attitude. Definitely we can tell a thick ramen soup base with one that tasted completely like water. This is really unprofessional from a Notable Japanese restaurant and which is not what a Real Japanese's standard of services should be liked. SERVING HORRIBLE RAMEN IN A BROKEN/CHIPPED EDGE BOWL (POTENTIALLY TAINTED WITH BACTERIA). I cannot understand why a service orientated business can ignore such details. It is really disheartening to see how we were treated especially we have been supporting Japanese cuisine here in Adelaide !"
