"We went there on Wednesday night and our experience was so beautiful! first the service was very attentive and gentle. many time came the waitress to serve us from the many placats on the table, or to clean our chaos! we really wanted to eat a real Sichuan meal with the appropriate level of seasoned and taste that we could find in sichuan and we had asked! we were surprised by the fast service because we had not the impression of waiting for our food! we ordered the boiled fish in oily pepper broth, hot and acidic vermicelli, and the spicy fried chicken with bones: all these 3 were as succulent as we can find in china! it was impossible to stop eating until we are all done! delicious eating, good presentation and beautiful service experience! we definitely recommend this place!"

"The food at this Chengdu Impression location is far and above that at the Wicker Park or Edgewater locations. Service was prompt and courteous despite being very busy when I was there. Parking can be a hassle since it's just off of Halsted Street and a bit of a hike from the nearest El Stops, but it's well worth it! I highly recommend the Twice Cooked Pork and the Sichuan Beef Noodle Soup. Beware, I was there when it was cold out and the constant flow of delivery drivers blew in the cold air and froze the whole restaurant. Not sure if the heat was off, but bring a sweater or be prepared to wear your winter coat to eat!"

"The food is absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was a huge hit with so much flavor! The tea-smoked duck and Sichuan beef noodle soup were my favorites. Our group of 11 (half adults, half kids) ordered 5 entrees and a few apps and it was the perfect amount. Also extremely reasonably priced. We can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. ?Also the woman who was running the place when we visited was very nice and took great care of our large party."

"The "crunchy" sesame chicken was extremely mushy and I would believe it if someone told me it was a frozen dinner The "sizhwan" style fried potatoes are soggy crinkle cut fries youd find in the freezer aisle with a dash of cumin and sesame seed sprinkled on top The egg rolls were unremarkable and nothing you wouldnt find at any of the number of Chinese restaurants in Columbus."
