"This small family business is the bomb! They have an amazing menu with inventive and delicious dishes. The spicy portobello were big and crunchy and juicy. The flavor was perfectly balanced with the Cole slaw and the pickles. I would order this again. The teriyaki chicken with rice and beans had a little bit too much sauce but the chicken had an amazing texture. Overall pretty good. I loved loved loved the vegan cookies!"

"Since moving to The Valley from Pasadena 4 years ago, I have been searching for the perfect Pad Thai for my Sunday night delivery habit. Finally found it at Kinnara, a brand new Thai restaurant 1/4 miles from my house! The sauce is perfect, not dry, not too spicy, enough so that when I add my own extra scrambled eggs green onions they get lightly coated….AND a LARGE cut of fresh lime, just the way I love it. Top quality ingredients!!!! I also ordered the Jade (green) chicken curry, which had fresh basil and just the right amount of coconut milk. Brown rice is available, which not all Thai restaurants have caught on to making. “Chef Kevin” is my new Sunday night chef! It’s in the complex with Starbuck’s on Sherman Way between Haskell and Sepulveda. Kudos! I hope it catches on quickly so I will have my Pad Thai around for years to come."

"I had the jade curry with tofu, which was deliciously sweet and the vegetables still had some crunch so good texture too. 3/5 spice level was a mild spiciness, just right for me. Pricey, but worth it."

"This has been my go to late night Chinese spot ever since pandas down the street closed down. Not to say pandas was better they're both legit chinese restaurants I was just used to pandas, moms been taking me there since I was a tyke. Fried rice is the bomb dot com beef and broccoli hits the spot all the soups are always super hot and taste exactly the way You expect them to. Over all pretty consistent with the quality of food they dish out. Been here about 50 times never once disappointed. Definitely recommended"

"Ordered take out. Maybe an off night or they ran out of all food but we all found it very disappointing. The penang curry was very very watery with maybe 4 thin slices of chicken in it, no other veggies. Summer rolls were almost entirely iceberg lettuce--one shrimp in one of them (half for each piece) and none with the rest. Pad Kee Mow had 4 tiny shrimp, plus a few pieces of tomato and gloppy noodles, no veggies. Given all the great restaurants nearby this was a bummer."
