"The restaurant is a mixed bag, that never justifies their extremely expensive cost. The average rated cost here of $20-$30 is completely inaccurate. The entrees themselves are $25. Tab, tax and tip for 2 including tea, soda and appetizers was $120, while the same meal in other places would be $80 Cons: The great extent of the food is subpar, without the proper texture or flavors with the exception of the sushi i.e. crispy food is soggy, the black bean sauce was a strong soy sauce, without any subtlety of other ingredients including beans, the place is of reasonable size (a plus) but seems cold in the winter, the decor and winter climate seems to necessitate a rug, wait staff is a bit cloying, you have to pay $8 for a small pot of oolong tea or a fresh soda, extremely expensive For properly textured, vegan orange beef at a reasonable cost I recommend Hunan Cottage in Plainview. For the most delicious blend of vegan orange beef ingredients with appropriate cost I recommend Veggie Heaven in Montclair, NJ. For the yummiest, crispy vegan shrimp I recommend Veggie Heaven in Denville, NJ Pros: efficient wait service, comfortable, almost roomy seating, solid, quality tables, pleasant decor, vegan sushi, vegan restaurant, housemade soda, decent tea, drink and eats selection, Chinese specialty and unique choices, serving sizes are reasonable, they are astute about special orders Edit to respond: We ordered a fried breaded dish that should be crispy. I'm always happy to describe any dish a customer may be unfamiliar or as this review, make recommendations. My comparison of dishes and cost is completely based on frequent dining of my family, and my orders at, similar Chinese restaurants in the area. I never offered feedback to the waitstaff about a chicken roll. I never recommended the chicken roll. The restaurant or manager was never privy to any private conversation, with another customer. Those comments are untrue and disappointing. If this restaurant is concerned about the customer experience, the owners and management should focus on what is stated, for areas of improvement. For ex. drinks that are overcharged and tea that is free in other establishments What's unfair? My review is honest and professional. It's interesting to me the negative part of my review is denied, and the positive part ignored yet detail is requested from reviews without any, so you may assist and help! Not to criticize the customer and defend problems. The review is half positive with room for improvement, it's 3 stars (which means good). It's recommended and I listed many reasons for that! Some of my favorite restaurants have only 1 more star, and I frequent my 3 and a few of my 2 star reviews Providing a critique and a food being inedible are completely different things. Customers can eat food that is lackluster, subpar for what it should be, especially for the price point. It is very sad and poor management to be defensive, and making things up, instead of appreciating patronage and interest in the business, and striving to improve. It's leaving a very bad taste in my mouth, the food never did. I'm keeping the stars the same in good faith, hoping the approach and attitude improve, as there is much to enjoy about the place"

"Fantastic food ... terrific service. Went in tonight not knowing what to expect, and boy was I pleasantly surprised. The view from the street doesn't do it justice ... this is a nice, cozy restaurant with great atmosphere.<br <br Upon arrival we were served bread and chips salsa. Chips are home made (nice touch), and the salsa was terrific. Not sure of all the ingredients in there, but this salsa is not as chunky as Mexican, and not as spicy. But it was tasty, that's for sure. For an appetizer we ordered a special tapas plate fried provolone ... it was great, well seasoned and not as salty as some greek (saganaki) alternatives. <br <br For the mains we had the skirt steak and the garlic shrimp simple and delicious. The skirt steak was excellent well marinated and seasoned, cooked perfectly to medium rare. The steak was seasoned with garlic and brushed with a hint of butter, and came accompanied by roasted vegetables and delicious garlic potatoes. The garlic shrimp came sizzling on a hot skillet and were accompanied by fragrant rice and roasted vegetables. The shrimp were fair size and deveined ... well executed, again.<br <br Overall a very pleasant, terrific tasting experience. The service was fast and friendly and helpful when asked. Well done. Will certainly come back.<br <br 3.5 5"

"I found this place years ago on a Groupon and been dining here ever since. The food is great when they actually have what’s on the menu. Secondly always ask if there credit card machines is working they try to say it’s not but there suppose to inform once you sit down it’s not operational. I get everyone wants cash but we live in a credit card world. I always purchase the sangria pitcher and leave very tipsy so don’t drink drive definitely Uber.."

"Showed up at around 4:15, the doors were locked although it says it opens at 4. Called and was told they're open. Bartender did apologize and opened the door a few minutes later. The bartender Natalie was also the waitress. She was AMAZING! I had a run punch and it was definitely on point. This was my second time coming here, and so far the drinks are always good. Now for the food...... We had wings for an appetizer and those were fine. The mussels though.....pass on it. The sauce the mussels are in is really good. It's like a butter garlic I guess. The bread/toast that comes along with it is so fresh and taste soooooo good with the sauce but we ordered mussels......and they were literally sitting on top of the sauce. No seasoning, not tossed at all.....just dry mussels sitting atop an amazing sauce. We had calamari as well and that was fine.....now for the meals. My kids had mozzarella sticks and fries and that speaks for itself, but my other child had chicken nuggets and fries. Its not chicken nuggets. It was literally 2 chicken cutlets that were not seasoned at all. If they're going to do chicken cutlets I wonder why they would eliminate the seasoning. To make it easier they might as well go get a frozen bag of nuggets and serve that. I had lamb and mashed potatoes. It was okay. And my husband had salmon which he hated. He said it taste like it was previously frozen and defrosted in hot water. It didn't hold much taste and for that reason he stated if he did come back it would be for drinks and apps..last but not least we had the chicken tacos which were AMAZING!"
