"First time being here and only tried two entrees: dumplings and Dandan noodles. Dumpling wrappers had a nice, soft, chewy texture and the filling was tasty. The noodles were...mostly noodles and needed more sustenance either by way of more protein or green vegetables. The only vegetable here was a bit of zucchini garnish and a few scallions. Definitely needed more heat from the chili oil as well as sesame seeds/ crushed peanuts for a crunch so, it was a little bland and I felt the need to condiment with soy sauce ?. Their Asian donuts, though small in size are subtly sweet, warm, and balance nicely with the condensed milk. So far, this is Panda Express 's pretentious cousin, but I 'm all for second chances, and am willing to come back (for the donuts alone) to try a few of their other dishes for good measure before making up my mind on this one ?."

"So I happened to come across this location by doing a blind search for healthy options on Google Maps. I can't recommend their food enough. I work in the neighboring area in McAllen, and at times I find myself struggling to locate meal options that do well to balance portion size, macronutrient breakdown, and flavor. The fact is that some of us, myself included, lack the culinary skills to produce high quality meals when meal prepping. I've tried doing meal prep before, but they usually come out mediocre or above average at best. If you usually find yourself eating out for lunch while at work, you should definitely give Healthy Bites a shot. Try one of their meals from the weekly menu first, and spend some time talking to the staff in person about how the restaurant operates. TL;DR It's very refreshing to have this dining option available, where you find healthy food with great flavor."

"Homemade feeling, delicious fish worth comming just for that, but the shrimp and chicken tenders are great also! Everything made to order. For the sides, even my 5year old daughter loved the col slaw. Definetly a regular place for us now!"
